As posted above, I think that the closer to the election the better as it goes towards timing of this scandal being front page news.
When the game is rigged, the only way to win is not to play their game. Or play it by your own rules.

Maybe Issa is on to something beating that drum: Add a trumpet made of ram’s horn and a Great Shout and Holder will come tumbling down... Maybe you are correct that the ‘greater’ public would not know of F&F without individuals like Issa and Coburn. It is all TOO well known about for friends and neighbors of Rob and Terry...
On second thought, maybe something more than drums, trumpets, and shouts are required.
When Fred Thompson tried to expose the influence of the Communist Chinese in the Clinton administration, did the press run with it and excite public opinion to the point of hysteria? No. The average person never heard a word about it and Thompson was left hanging out in public while being attacked by American hero, John Glenn.
Unless and until conservative influence is infused into the culture and news outlets, conservatives are screaming into the wind.
We need to get some reps who are willing to fall on their swords if necessary.
What does that mean?
