Tampa Police have announced two of four suspects wanted for the vicious beating of a Tampa soldier have been arrested.
According to detectives, Army soldier Johnny Aparicio, 24, was walking east on Iowa Avenue in South Tampa on Sunday when he was approached and asked for a dollar. When Aparicio replied, three suspects hit him in the face and upper body, knocking him to the ground. A fourth suspect came running and joined in the beating.
"The detective interviewed one of the suspects the very next day after the robbery and he told him to do his job and investigate, and maybe he'll solve the crime," Tampa Police spokesperson Andrea Davis said, "and that's exactly what he did. It just made him more motivated to go out and do that."
Davis said Robinson High School student Geroshe Lewis, 18, of Tampa, and Lerome Howard, 18, of Sulphur Springs, were arrested Friday in connection to the beating. Howard is not a student at the school.
Lewis was arrested at the school on Friday afternoon as the school day ended, Davis said. Howard was arrested at his home without incident Friday afternoon.
"The victim is aware of the arrest and obviously he's happy," Davis said. Aparicio picked one of the suspects out of a "photo-pack" on Friday.
Hillsborough County School District spokeserson Steve Hegarty said Lewis will not return to Robinson High School.
"Geroshe Lewis is a senior and belonged to no clubs and does not play any sports," Hegarty said. "He is not in the school yearbook. Based on the charges and the seriousness of the alleged crimes, he will not be returning."
After being questioned at a Tampa Police Department substation Friday night, both suspects were taken and booked into the Orient Road Jail on charges of robbery and aggravated battery.

I would suggest that these two asshats be dropped off at the front gate or the nearest military base with signs around their necks “jumped and beat a soldier”.
Save lots of court cost and money on incarceration..

OK, but now, where is 1200 91st street in Palmdale? In Google Maps, 91st street consists of a few fragments with widely separated houses in a desert area, among which I was unable to identify any “bright blue two story” structure. GM identifies 1200 91st street as a location along a dirt ( or sand ) road well to the north, far from any kind of building or structure at all. The city proper, small as it is, lies well to the west, with streets designated in the 30’s or so.

Orient Road is thw county lockup for “non-violent” offenders. WTF!?
Tampa hosts MacDill AFB, the home of CENTCOM. Just turn them loose inside the gate and let justice take its course...

I KNEW this would happen when Obama won. I told my mother and my fiancée that the blacks would become emboldened and believe they could get away with violence and criminal mischief.
And while they're not "getting away with it," they are trying. It will reach a point where law enforcement is overwhelmed and they will get away with it.
Meanwhile, the Liberals are trying to get rid of laws such as Florida's Stand Your Ground and concealed carry licensing in order to prevent the deaths of these thugs when they attack an armed citizen.
Florida is known as a gun-toting state, and provided the northeast Liberals don't relocate here to the point of infestation, we will continue to be a gun-toting state, and it should strike fear in the hearts of would-be criminals that they could be killed for trying to "thug out."
The time is coming that whites, at least a small contingent of us, grow to the point of disconnect and start cleaning the streets ourselves. George Zimmerman was a hero, as far as I'm concerned.

Yes, or warehoused with free TV and fitness centers for a while. We need to bring back hangings (and for treason too...) and rock pile style hard labor. Prison farms to keep food costs down.

That’s the problem, not much an economy out in the sticks but the wife and I and family sure like the lifestyle. Minus 60 for a couple weeks every January is a small price to pay actually.
