Hannity Special: McCain Camp Didn’t Vet Obama; Palin Thought That Was a Mistake
Conservatives4Palin ^ | Saturday May 19, 2012

Sean Hannity hosted a panel on his show last night, to discuss Barack Obama’s history, in his “own words.” Stephen K. Bannon was a member of that panel, and reminded viewers (around the 3:30 mark) that the McCain campaign failed to vet Obama during the 2008 presidential election:

The decision to not vet the current president in 2008 by Steve Schmidt and other incompetent individuals within the McCain camp, played a role in outcome in that race. Governor Palin knew the American people deserved to know the facts about Obama’s history and associations. Schmidt & Co. simply wouldn’t allow it, and the result is the current failed leadership directing the executive branch of the nation’s federal government today.

Steve Schmidt is one of MSNBC’s boys now. He’s on there all the time trashing all republicans except McLame.

Schmidt has been one of Romney’s boys for years and years.
He’s one of members of the GOP-e faction who needs to defect to the Democrat coalition ~ soon.

**********************

Except that they are about to acquire title to the GOP, lock, stock and barrel.

Mitt didn’t seem to have any trouble slinging mud on his primary competitors, what’s the problem now????

When it involves anything to do Uzero, Romney will become so spineless he could slide into a cider jug. Also, if the Sear's model gets in the White Hut, we can forget holding the Zippy regime and his 57 Czars accountable for past criminal activity.

“Mitt didn’t seem to have any trouble slinging mud on his primary competitors, what’s the problem now????”

In the primary he was running against people with opposing positions and convictions. Now he is following the “11th Commandment”.

[Schmidt's] one of members of the GOP-e faction who needs to defect to the Democrat coalition ~ soon.

Why would they have him? He's too damn dumb to help them out.

Schmidt's more valuable to the Dems on our side of the fence.

McCain’s team was certainly incompetent. It wouldn’t have hurt to do some digging. But how much more could they have found out that we don’t know now or didn’t know then? Nobody who knows Obama is talking.

Hey, Sarah.

You didn’t know that Panama Juan could also not run for president since he was born in Colón, Republic of Panama; and agreed to run as his VP with no knowledge of this?

That makes you dumb if you didn’t now. But I believe you did. Why are you so seemly smart in some areas, but dumber than dirt when it came to this?

I was born at noon…not a midnight.

He already has...sometime before 2008.

I have very little use for McCain, but to lump him and Obama together regarding eligibility is absurd.

Being born overseas the child of two American citizens while your father was stationed there in the US military has absolutely NO comparison to having an underage US citizen mother and a foreign national father, possibly being born overseas and probably having claimed foreign student status for advantage in college admissions & scholarships.

If the child born of a serviceman serving overseas looses citizenship, then why serve? Ranks right up there with delaying/loosing ballots from overseas servicemen.

Tell that to the US Senate, which felt compelled to pass a nonbinding resolution regarding McCain’s eligibility. Several prominent Constitutional scholars were raising questions. It was a factor, whether or not you agree.

Obama, unlike 2008 is not an unknown which the Left can paint as they wish. He has a history, a record and because of this the Romney campaign needs to be careful not to give the opposition any ammunition it can use to cry racism.

Currently Romney is hammering on Obama’s record, something that the Democrats, while most unhappy about can do little to refute. If Romney begins to harp on Obama’s personal past the Left will then begin screaming he is changing the subject and not focusing on the problems we need to solve in order to get the country back to work.

While there may be satisfaction initially in “outing” Obama’s past (born in Kenya)I don’t believe it will help defeat more then pointing out his abysmal record and continuous failures will.

I have always believed an issues driven campaign beats a purely attack driven campaign every time.
