Romney Is Wrong on Wright
American Thinker ^ | Saturday May 19, 2012 | Karin McQuillan

Posted on 05/19/2012 12:29:28 PM PDT by Bigtigermike

According to the Times, the Romney team has decided not to assail Obama's "likability," for fear personal attacks will backfire with independents.

Message to the Republican establishment:  do not muzzle those of us who want to focus on Obama's troubling history with angry Marxists, black and white, including Reverend Wright and Bill Ayers.   This is not about race.  It is about knowing who Obama is, understanding what he has already done to our country, and what he is capable of doing.

The issue of Rev erend Wright is not peripheral, it is central.  It gets to the heart of the differences between conservative and progressive views.  Democrats have won on the field of character assassination -- they have defamed and destroyed respect not simply for Republican candidates, but for all Republican voters.  When Republican party leaders refuse to inform the public about the hateful, radical character of the liberal/progressive agenda for America -- so visible in Wright and Obama -- we are hobbling ourselves, and we will lose the bigger fight, which is about identity, core beliefs and values.

[....]

We're not supposed to investigate who President Obama is by looking at the people whose advice he sought and beliefs he respected, the people he hired and the people who hired him.  Instead, we're supposed to kowtow to false and despicable accusations of racism against Republicans.

We're not allowed to comment on the behavior of someone if his skin color is black?  I find that racist.  I prefer to see all men as equal.  How can you have a fair election contest with a black candidate under those conditions, where only the white candidate can be vetted?    I want a media that vets Obama as thoroughly as they vet Romney.

Romney may very well snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, he’s quite capable being the moderate to liberal he is.

This is what you ABO, rino supporters are gonna get! PANSYISM!

Here's a little advice - If you're going to support Liberal Romney as the republican nominee the very least you could do is hold his feet to the conservative fire!

Here comes McCain II!

Don’t worry. The Super PAC’s will do all the dirty work. And as a supporter of McCain–Feingold, Obambi will have only himself to blame.

“....the Romney team has decided not to assail Obama’s “likability,”....”

.
Shades of McCain in 2008.

Be prepared for the election outcome to be similar in 2012.

The Obama campaign essentially portrayed Romney as a "vampire"...but he refuses to counterattact with the truth about Wright?

If Romney lacks cojones, perhaps he should send Newt out to fight for him!

The real reason for the anti-Wright campaign fizzling is that the super-pac donor who was going to fund it is a guy named Joe Ricketts, the father of Tom Ticketts who is the owner of the Chicago Cubs, who is in deep negotiations with the City of Chicago for funding renovation of Wrigley Field. The Rahmfather waved no-no with his little stump finger and the whole thing ground to a halt quite quickly.

I doubt he is McCain II (other than the RINO part). Romney isn’t going to risk it now as thinks are looking pretty good and nobody outside of gurus are paying attention now anyway, but we’ve seen what a nasty, fact twisting SOB Romney can be with his back against the wall. I have no doubt that if it looks like Romney is going to lose, Romney will throw everything at Obama to tear him down. His history doesn’t show the weakness in that areahat was so predictable with McCain.

You just don’t get it —— Romney has allowed now for the media to control what is off limits on what Romney and his people can potentially say in the future. How many times will the Team Obammy and the media ask Romney:

“Do you condone or will you condemn what these conservatives are saying about Obama here since you condemn the Rev Wright issue?” or “You can’t go there, since you said that you wanted to be ‘above the fray’ on issues like Rev Wright right?”

So while Romney is walking around saying “Obama is a nice guy but just in over his head, the left and the media will be ripping Romney with all of the dirty tricks in the book on his faith, business and character and demanding that if Romney wants to be honorable, he like McCain can’t go into certain areas or fear being looped together with the racists and fear-mongers

The sickening part is that McCain really is feeble-minded but Romney (though a leftist) is (at least I thought) somewhat bright. But he's not acting very bright. Following in the footsteps of the feeble-minded is not very bright at all.

Not to mention the fact that McCain in 2008 proved the value of white flags in a campaign: valueless.

His Romney really that stupid or does he just want to lose?

I think the way the Romney camp ought to handle it is not to attack Jeremiah Wright as hateful and racist, but to expose the Black Liberation Theology that he preached. I have heard those that have researched it say that BLT is nothing but thinly veiled communism. Barack Obama willingly sat in those pews for 20 years, apparently accepting and agreeing with that ideology . . . and he went to work foisting it on the American people when he became President. It shows in the policies he has adopted, the people chosen for his administration, and in the regulation he is poised to adopt if re-elected.

America will learn about Romney and polyamory
and Romney’s belief that he is a coming diety
along with Romney’s ineligibility ... in October.

Until then, Milt HAS to protect Obama, as he
has in 2007, and in 2008, and in 2009, and in 2010.

Romney has only one target: Any conservative in his way.

The folks screaming for Romney to go after the Wright issue are not focused on what will win this campaign. Obama’s cruddy economy is what will bring our Dear Leader down.

There are plenty of underlings, talk radio and grassroots folks to keep the Wright issue alive. Romney needs to stay above that fray and hammer on the economy-—which he has, non-stop.

As I have stated earlier, before it's over said and done Romney will be apologizing to 0bama.

If one is looking for principled conviction, it "ain't gonna" be found with Romney!

Gee, this reminds me of another campaign,...a recent one,...now who was that?????? I can’t remember his name but he has a very fat blonde daughter with a big mouth. I remember he got kicked in the nuts in the general election because he actually preferred losing to a mulatto. Very strange. Just can’t remember the name of this idiot. maybe it will come to me.

Wolfman, that post shows that you don’t know a thing about the RINO GOP! Romney will GLADLY lose if it means not having to get his hair mussed up. Too much Kool-Aid Wolfman!
