There is no truce! Retread troll zot!
Vanity | Christopheros Geanakos

First of all, not a newb.. just a purge victim from the primaries.

JimRob posted almost a month ago about a so called truce between Romney supporters and the rest of the FReeper community. Since then, it appears the left has little job to do in driving a wedge into the right wing, we are doing it still ourselves.

Were is this truce? How come all I see on here is Alinsky tactics of divide and conquer? Today there was a post about Evil Mittie and him fundraising with morning after pill distributors. And the "true blue conservatives" pounce, little do they know that this pill manufacturer is one of the largest generic pill manufactuyrers in the world.. who produce all kind of medicine, even Augmentin, Azithromycin and Cipro, common anti-biotics..

This so called truce makes me sick. Can't wait to read the next half-baked anti-Romney article and the zealot FReepers who will eat up its every word because it furthers the narrative of Romney that THEY want him to fit into.

I'm not upset that people have beliefs that won't "allow" them to vote for Romney.. but what really irritates me is this active campaigning against people who would support Romney.. what game are you trying to pull? To deliver us into 4 more years of Obama servitude, for what purpose?? It strengthens conservatives? Talk about a phyyric victory. If you don't support Romney fine, but we are all anti-Obama here.. lets stay on focus.

Of course.

The car maker is not to blame if you kill someone drunk driving. Nor is the guy who made the road. Not even the liquor manufacturer. Only person left is the who drank, drove and killed.

There would be no drug dealers, if no one no one used drugs.

"Maybe the answer is that some of us don’t really care about the Republican party. We love America."

I feel that we are at war with the enemy within (the White House.) And war is always hell.

This is not about cars, or liquor. It is about a drug whose sole purpose is to destroy human life.

If every pregnant mom refused to abort there would be no need would there? If we jailed, fined, humiliated, etc every person that wanted an abortion, then that might save the lives of a few unborn precious lives, but is this a country that is free?

As sad as it is, a woman will lose an unwanted pregnancy with or without drugs, laws or regulation.

Two words many choose to ignore. Choice and Accountability.

And who chose to use it?

I know the LEFT believe that we the people cannot think for themselves.

Is that what you want too..?

They bought it didn’t they. They used it. Put the blame where the blame belongs. Do you want to live in a granny state?

The dealer is only the middle man.

So, in terms of public policy, you’re pro-choice.

With no accountability whatsoever for those who do the killing, or provide the poison which is designed solely to exterminate the child.

Got it.

It's sad that you lack the discernment to understand the difference between natural death and the intentional killing of the innocent.

The manufacturer also has a choice....and they have made theirs......just because it is financially profitable...does not make it right....you seem to have confused conservatism with libertarianism.

Silly argument. If a pregnant mother chooses to have her child aborted, the buck stops here. Same with the nanny, if she choose to kill an unborn child against the will of the mother. Then guess what, she is to blame.

> Conservatives have always been a minority among GOP politicians, Reagan was the exception.

I’m still waiting for data from you to support this.

Of course not. I treasure my right to vote. I will find a pro-gun, pro-capitalism, pro-Constitution candidate and vote for them.

Oops, you said politicians. That’s actually true. But the GOP electorate has always been primarily conservative, by a long margin.

Do you consider ‘Rockefeller Republicans’ to be conservative?

No, and I concede your point that a majority of GOP politicians are RINOs.

But I still maintain that the GOP electorate remains overwhelmingly conservative.

That’s why we need to take back the party.

That is a brilliant statement and I fully agree.

Agreed. And it won’t happen by electing Romney.

Yet who knows what will happen by facilitating Obama’s re-election through sit out or otherwise. Ultimately we are being polled this November as to whether the guard should or shouldn’t be changed from one unbeliever to another, more sensible unbeliever. Even if they were exactly the same, why should any one get more than four years to dig in?

Hehehe, my girls are teenagers! The 14-year-old is really the most into it. They are not sure if they are ahead of time or behind time.

So I have to say, it really did suck me in. At first I was like, “Whoa, this is for people on drugs.” but then I really got into it.

The animation is very bright so I kind of dismissed the show, but the story was really good and from what my girls have explained, the character development is amazing.

My younger daughter thinks that the reason why the show is so popular is because the producers really listen to the fanbase. At one point she had a huge pony face looking over the Windows default landscape as her wallpaper. She explained that this was “DitzyDoo” but because the fanbase called her “DerpyHooves” one of the characters called her “Derpy” at one point. Seems the base was all a flutter about it.

They go to the PonyWiki and read a lot. I’m sure we’ll be watching more. Now I will too! Thanks!
