Robert Kennedy Jr insists he is not responsible for wife Mary’s suicide
Telegraph (UK) ^ | 6:26PM BST 20 May 2012 | By Rosa Prince, New York

Delivering a eulogy to his estranged wife Mary, Mr Kennedy, the son of the assassinated attorney-general Robert F Kennedy and nephew of President John F Kennedy, spoke of her troubled life and admitted that she resented him for asking her to give up her career to have children.

Mary Richardson Kennedy’s family went to court on Friday to try to stop her being interred in a Kennedy family plot in Centerville, Massachusetts.

But the burial went ahead following a funeral service at St Patrick’s Church in Bedford, New York, attended by stars including the actors Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroyd, Glenn Close, Susan Sarandon and Larry David, and the tennis champion John McEnroe.

Representatives from the Kennedy clan included Ethel Kennedy, Mr Kennedy’s mother and RFK’s widow, Caroline Kennedy, President Kennedy’s daughter, and Maria Shriver, another cousin, who is married but separated from Arnold Schwarzenegger, the actor turned California governor.

In his tearful eulogy, twice-married Mr Kennedy told mourners how his troubled wife had telephoned him the day before she was found hanging from a barn in the home they once shared in upstate New York.

He said: “The day before she died, she called me and said, 'You know me better than anyone in the world’. She said, 'I was such a good girl’. I said, 'I know you are and you still are’. She really fought so hard. She had these demons, and she didn’t deserve it. I know I did everything I could to help her.”

Mrs Kennedy’s friends have suggested that she was distraught at the separation from her husband, who filed for divorce in 2010 and is now in a relationship with Cheryl Hines, the star of the television show Curb Your Enthusiasm, but had not completed the process.

What I hate most about the Kennedys is the sway they hold over the entire machine of the state, including the judiciary. How? Why?

In this case, the a-hole that’s divorcing her — so he is NOT her family anymore — WINS in court against her family, who don’t want her buried with the rest of the a-hole’s family. Seems like a no-brainer. Seems unconscionable to go against the wishes of her family.

But no. The court rules on the side of the Kennedy. Always. ALWAYS. And why? What does it buy this judge? The Kennedys are done. The best of them was murdered half a century ago. The rest are losers, morons, and liars. There’s nothing in it for anyone to kowtow to them anymore, so why? How do they maintain this almost hypnotic hold over the entire commonwealth of Massachusetts?

I’d really like someone from Massachusetts to explain.

I think she should have been buried where her family wished.

Typical scum of the earth liberal—it’s always the other guys fault.
And the brain dead American public worships these pukes.
The Kennedy family is a disgrace to this country from top to bottom!!

I would say because the divorce was never finalized. They were still married in the eyes of the law.

people who were close to her, knew different.

I stand with her family who, from a news source said they wanted the burial NOT with the Kennedys'. They were, after all, divorcing. I wonder what scars this will leave upon the four children (being a Kennedy not all its cracked up to be).

Not responsible? Is that the same as irresponsible?

Was she not his second wife with whom he had an affair while he was married to the first wife?

Newt was castrated by the press for lesser sins - NO SMALL CHILDREN INVOLVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Her family didn't want her buried with the Kennedys! Why were they not able to stop it?

Because "The Kennedy's" are the premier American oligarchical criminal class.

From Wiki:

Kennedy married Emily Ruth Black (b. October 15, 1957)[2] on April 3, 1982, in Bloomington, Indiana;[citation needed] she is the daughter of Thomas Black and Libby Armstrong.[citation needed] They have two children: Robert F. III, b. 1984, and Kathleen Alexandra, b. 1988. They divorced on March 25, 1994, in the Dominican Republic.[citation needed]

Kennedy subsequently married Mary Richardson (1960 – May 16, 2012) on April 15, 1994, aboard a research vessel along the Hudson River.[3][4] They had four children: Conor Richardson (b. 1994), Kyra LeMoyne (b. 1995), William Finbar (b. 1997), and Aiden Caohman Vieques (b. 2001). On May 12, 2010, Kennedy filed for divorce from Mary; three days later she was charged with drunken driving.[5]

What a guy!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think she should have been buried where her family wished.

I pray that her family takes this to the courts over and over and over again...all the while with a NY Post reporter in tow...to get a judge to order that she be reburied where *THEY* want her buried.

from another story earlier:

One of Mary’s brothers, Thomas Richardson, filed legal papers in White Plains on Thursday listing Robert Kennedy as the defendant. The document wasn’t made public and was then subsequently sealed, along with all other papers related to the case, by Judge Joan Lefkowitz.

The court filing came on the same day that the Kennedys had announced their memorial plans for Mary, which included the wake Friday evening, a funeral Saturday morning at a Roman Catholic Church, and burial later in the day near the family’s seaside compound in Hyannisport, Mass.

Meanwhile, Mary Kennedy’s siblings announced through their lawyer, Kerry Lawrence, that they were planning a memorial service in Manhattan, though they didn’t say when.

Lawrence declined to answer questions about the court filing Friday. The lawyer listed in court records as representing Thomas Richardson, Patricia Hennessey, had also served as Mary’s divorce lawyer. Hennessey did not return a phone message.

In his tearful eulogy . . .

Oh, barf! This is like Ted giving a eulogy for Mary Jo, except back in those days the Catholic Church would never have allowed such an abomination.

Another self-serving Kennedy. Using a eulogy to make himself look good. Classy.

why was the POS doing the eulogy in the first place... couldn't they find somebody that actually cared about what happened to her???

Because a Kennedy had to be the center of attention

Teddy was married to his wife for 25 years and had the marriage annulled by paying off the catholic Church,he turned her into a drunk and the Kennedy’s claimed she had mental illness, then he killed Mary Jo and remarried, but the Cardinal officiated at this killer and abortionist lover’s funeral.

I’m sure a check was written, or one has been promised. It’s the Kennedy way.
