May 20, 2012 First Lady Tells NATO Spouses in Chicago, Feels Good to Be Home
CHICAGO As NATO leaders launched two days of summit talks, first lady Michelle Obama hosted their spouses at a youth center in the neighborhood where she grew up, saying, It really feels good to be home. I brought them here because I am so proud of where I grew up, and I wanted to show everyone some of the wonderful things that are happening here on the South Side, the first lady told the audience at the Gary Comer Youth Center on Chicagos South Side.
The first lady encouraged the students to work hard and aim high. I grew up just like you. Same background. My family didnt have a lot of money growing up. Neither of my parents had the opportunity to go to college, and most of the folks in my neighborhood didnt get a chance to go, either, she said. But I decided to just focus, to push the haters out, to kick the doubters out of my head.
And instead, what I did was I worked really hard. I focused all my energy on working hard.
What I want you all to know is that with every acceptance letter I received, I realized that it didnt matter where I was from, didnt matter how much money my family had, she said.
The first lady and her guests, who hailed from such far-away places as Croatia, Turkey and France, toured the centers rooftop vegetable garden and watched the children show off their culinary skills. The students demonstrated how to prepare their original strawberry basil vinaigrette dressing.

yeah, telling others what to do wears one out......and remembering all those names.

The NAEFC wants an apology.
That obese piece of horse dung hasn't worked an honest day in her miserable, racist, ugly life. Welcome to BRA.

New City has logged seven homicides so far this year. The South Side community area recorded 15 homicides last year, according to RedEye data.
Twenty-four homicides have been recorded so far this month (ed: a/o 5/16/12). Thirty-nine homicides were logged in May 2011, according to RedEye data.
Things are happening on the South Side, but I don’t think I’d describe them as “wonderful”.
Why does the lower photo look like an HO train diorama?
“Things are happening on the South Side, but I dont think Id describe them as wonderful.........
Guess it’s just a matter of how you look at it.
I thought the same thing.
That picture doesn’t look real.
Michelle travels almost as much as Barrack, but never together.
It isn’t bad enough we have a President that travels on our dime now we have a First lady that never stays home.
Except for the cars, and they're not bad, it *looks* pretty darn real.
I’m almost afraid to ask, what’s the “NAEFC”?
The National Aunt Esther Fan Club, naturally.
Now could you or anyone name or describe the Sanford and Son episode I took that screen shot from?
-—Neither of my parents had the opportunity to go to college,——
Probably a blessing. Anyone in any job has contributed more to society than this college grad.
A common Anarcho-Syndicalist flag.
In the early 20th century, anarcho-syndicalism arose as a distinct school of thought within anarchism. With greater focus on the labour movement than previous forms of anarchism, syndicalism posits radical trade unions as a potential force for revolutionary social change, replacing capitalism and the state with a new society, democratically self-managed by the workers.
Anarcho-syndicalists seek to abolish the wage system and private ownership of the means of production, which they believe lead to class divisions. Important principles include workers' solidarity, direct action (such as general strikes and workplace recuperations), and workers' self-management. This is compatible with other branches of anarchism, and anarcho-syndicalists often subscribe to anarchist communist or collectivist anarchist economic systems. Its advocates propose labour organization as a means to create the foundations of a non-hierarchical anarchist society within the current system and bring about social revolution.
"The raised fist (also known as the clenched fist) is a salute and logo most often used by left-wing activists, such as: Marxists, anarchists, socialists, communists, pacifists, trade unionists, and black nationalists. The raised fist is usually regarded as an expression of solidarity, strength or defiance."
I brought them here because I am so proud of where I grew up, and I wanted to show everyone some of the wonderful things that are happening here on the South Side,
Even with millions stolen from whites, I guarantee you nothing “wonderful” is going on in the south side of Chicago. But, I guess dishing out highly paid, utterly useless government jobs to supervise the uncivilized savagery is “wonderful” to a RaceMarxist.
Aunt Esther had a lot more class than Michelle Obama does. She was a God-loving woman who couldn’t stand Fred Sanford because he was a lazy, conniving, lecherous (albeit hilarious) con man.
Night time ain’t no time to be in the South Side.
...anyone that has to tell you how hard they work...usually doesn't work very hard.
That was always Slick Willy's excuse for not responding to the rape and sexual harassment allegations: (in Rush Limbaugh's best Bill Clinton impersonating voice) "I need to go back to work for the American people"...
It does look like a model.
Whatever it is it is old. The sign on top of the building advertises a Toyota Corolla for $11,995 and the picture is of a much older style of Corolla.
The man in the lower right of the photo does look somewhat real.
Who was it who said, "It's a composit."
