The legacy of the 2008 campaign was the code of omerta enforced by the the legacy media about anything having to do with Obama’s past. Where was he born? Don’t care. What were his college years like? Can’t you move on to something important, like the time Mitt Romney ragged some hippie in high school? Why did Obama say that former Weatherman Bill Ayers was “just a guy in the neighborhood” when he was plainly an important political mentor, if not also the ghostwriter, for the future president?
There are a lot of questions to be asked about Barack Obama. Why are his college records sealed? Why can’t we see a certified copy of his birth certificate? Why are his medical records sealed? I’ve been told that his Social Security registration was issued by Connecticut, which would be odd, but cannot check because that too is sealed. Obama worked as a lawyer, but we don’t know who he worked for because his client list is sealed. Why is it that Michelle Obama can no longer practice as an attorney? We know the fact but not the reason.
General infatuation guaranteed that Obama got more or less a free pass from the legacy media. I suspect there will be much more curiosity as the summer progresses and we get into the campaign. He is no longer the pristine knight come to lower the oceans, fix the economy, and “fundamentally transform” the United States of America into a green paradise where everyone suckles happily at the federal mammary gland except the evil coal producers who are miserable bankrupts. No, I suspect that even The Washington Post, even The New York Times, will have to take a peek or two under the covers of the tale of this international man of mystery.

I have no faith in the Media ever vetting this guy properly.
I wonder why he would even think that a Media that elected Obama would actually come out with the truth.When his election is over one thing is sure,We will still not know where Obama came from.
Why can’t we see a certified copy of his birth certificate?I think many posters in FR (and a few, very few, writers elsewhere) don't realize that the piece of crap posted on the WH website and labeled "Birth Certificate" has been 100% accepted by 100% of the media and 100% of the political establishment in this country. And given the fact that a large majority of Americans don't pay attention to anything that's not in the very shallowest areas of the media, there is 0% chance that this subject is going to make waves in this election.
Get over it, folks. He got away with it. We have an illegal president and nobody (except a few of us here and a few elsewhere) care about it and nobody, absolutely nobody, is both willing and able to do anything about it.
If you want to get rid of Our Illegal President, there is only one way, the ballot box. All else is childish fantasy in the first degree.

However, I disagree on the significance of Obama’s impact part in this travesty. The Liberals, Democrats, Socialists, Fascists, etc. would never have been able to coalesce so clearly around a lesser ‘figurehead’. It is true that the ‘head’ in the figurehead is largely empty, but he still was the icon around whom was forged a massive collusion built on racism, guilt, liberal ideology and greed and hatred for the ideals of this country. Without him, none of what’s been done to this country in the last 3 and half years would have been possible.

The eastern seaboard news agencies have been commies for a long time, but the rest of the country’s media has had occasional bouts with reality.
Back when carter and even clinton were in power, there were some media types who questioned their actions and some even spoke out against the dimrat machine.
Since 9/11, the entire media has gone insane crazy marxist.
What’s sick is that the media, with guaranteed protection in the Constitution, is campaigning for a bunch of people who will destroy that very Constitution.
One of Soros’ goals was to undermine George Bush at every turn. I still believe that the dim party operatives used Soros money to insure that there would be no dissent within the American media. Sure looks that way.
It could be possible that 0bama’s ineptness has made him a worthless tool to the left; that he’s actually harming “the movement” (ie, communism),
and they have this “kill switch” available to get rid of him.
