High school teacher tells student he can be arrested for criticizing Obama

After criticizing Mitt Romney, a North Carolina high school teacher yelled at a student for asking a question about Barack Obama, telling him that he could be arrested for criticizing Barack Obama.

Sarah Campbell wrote at the Salisbury Post Saturday that the heated exchange began "with a classroom conversation about a recent news story detailing Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney allegedly bullying a classmate in prep school. It turns into a heated, sometimes confrontational debate."

“Didn’t Obama bully someone though,” one student asked, referring to an incident in Obama's memoir, “Dreams from My Father,” in which Obama admitted pushing a girl when other students called him her boyfriend.

“Stop, no, because there is no comparison,” the teacher said.

According to the teacher, Romney is “running for president," and therefore does not deserve the same respect as Obama, who "is the president.”

“Listen, let me tell you something, you will not disrespect the president of the United States in this classroom,” she said.

She went on to tell the student that he "will not" say what he wants about Obama, and asserted that it was a crime to "slander" the President. The student responded by recalling that many spoke ill of George W. Bush while he was President, and such arrests would violate the Constitutional right to free speech.

Who is that legal team that does pro bono and inexpensive work on these types of cases, kind of a conservative version of the ACLU? Can’t remember their name.

This woman is an idiot. The kid is much better informed and much more intelligent than his ‘teacher’. She’s obviously the fruit of affirmative action...not qualified to teach, not qualified to do anything in any position of responsibility. She isn’t even qualified to be a school crossing guard or bus driver,

That audio is a damning indictment of what is wrong with public schools these days... just ignore the entire content of what this ignorant teacher is “teaching”, and you have evidence that the teacher and kids are out of control, there is no respect, no classroom management, cursing, screaming, innappropriate laughing, etc. Who could learn in that environment even if what the teacher was teaching was worthwhile??

Take a look at the Obama worship song that students at Longfellow Elementary in Howard County, MD were assigned to memorize last week, according to Red Maryland’s Brian Griffiths. A sample:

Barack Obama–Oh yes he rates,

He’ll lead this country as he should!

He wants us all to work together,

To make this country even better!

Prez’ Obama says–”Yes We Can!”

This teacher is politically ignorant! I teach my sons to respect other people’s political opinion, but she has no right shoving her opinions down his throat! Since this day, I have had to remove him from North Rowan High School and am going to enroll him at RCCC to finish his education. I am outraged that she can conduct herself in such an unprofessional manner and receive no disciplinary action. THIS IS NOT OVER! I will attempt to contact Rush Limbaugh this week.

I hope Rush can help - this isn't the only teacher bulling a conservative student - it's the norm.

The teacher is not getting any teaching awards this year. I like the student having enough intelligence to question things, that is perhaps a lesson too few learn is that just because someone in authority says something so it is not necessarily so. Inadvertently a lesson was taught, maybe there is a Inspector Clouseau award for a triumph through incompetence.

On the tape, one kid says "well, what about when people said Bush was sh!tty when he was president."

And the teacher (clearly one of Holder's people) said that "well, he was sh!tty."

Just as the truth is finally coming out about Socialism's bankruptcy, the truth is also coming out about affirmative action (and its bankruptcy) and the insidious nature of black racism toward Whitey.

At least, this incident came out because the father has a pair and raised hell about it.

The many other incidents with no public objections and/or glossed over by the Communist MSM is the real threat to the Republic.

Cowering in fear and not standing up leads to a de facto Communist takeover that's very difficult to undo repair the destroyed institutions without bloodshed.
