Civil rights activist Rev. Jesse Jackson defended Monday controversial Rev. Jeremiah Wright, saying that it was a source of pain to see him criticized in the media.
I know its a source of pain for me to see him used as an object of degradation and manipulated the way hes been used the media as if hes some sort of enemy of the state. Its not fair and its not true, said Jackson on MSNBCs Daily Rundown. It pains me to see him used as an object of degradation.
Jackson said that Wright had developed an influential ministry, one that was being overlooked because of some of his controversial comments.
I remember when parents were kicking their youth out of houses, called AIDS a kind of leprosy, he had a ministry. I remember when gays were being in isolation and committing suicide, he had a gay ministry, said Jackson.
His ministry has been a most profound one. Thats why people like a young Barack Obama and Michelle would go to that church, because it was such a well ministered church, he added.

It “pains” “Rev” Jackson, sounds like a WIN-WIN to me!
Wright was never degraded...he was merely brought into the light so people could see him!
What’s he so bugged over?
Even the MSM now thinks that Jeremiah Wright is an enemy of the state?
Well as they say, if one man calls you a donkey tell him to get lost, but if another man does, then consider getting a saddle.
Anytime Jesse doesn’t get all the attention, it pains him.
What was the name of Jesse’s white Ho, the TV leftie?
Thanks Free ThinkerNY.
What about cutting Obama’s nuts off? Wouldn’t that pain anyone, Jackasson?
And there is nothing controversial about a President who would sit in Wright's Church for twenty years and nod his head while Wright said it.
It’s almost as if Jesse has never read James 3, or any of the Bible, really.
“Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.”— James 3:1
Because he attributed some comments to Obama that cast doubt on the quasi-Kenyan's veracity?
Don’t attack my comrade in racism for profit!
You can certainly call me an enemy of the state the day you see me on video repeatedly, proudly screaming “God damn America”...at the top of my lungs.
“it was such a well ministered church”
Okay “Reverend,” please explain how a gospel-less church can be well-ministered?
:: I remember when gays were being in isolation and committing suicide, he had a gay ministry, said Jackson. ::
When was this successful “gay” ministry at Trinity UCC? Around the time Obamugabe showed up? And what about the 2 murdered “gay” members of the choir? Is that when it ended?
Inquiring minds want to know.
It’s because Jesse is as big a racist scumbag as Jeremiah. Don’t ya’ know, black agitators can say any malicious, vile, lying thing they want, and they are supposed to get away with it. Imagine what will happen if that stops. Halfwits like Jesse will be out of a job.
Wright’s hits on American pains me.
His protege 0 and his hits on America pains me.
What I see is:
“look at all the good things he’s done - you need to forget about his racism, Marxism, and anti-americanism.”
Snip: If God is not for us and against white people, writes Cone, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill gods who do not belong to the black community.
Snip: White people are liars - that's the message Jeremiah Wright, former senior pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ, had for children at the First African Baptist Church of Savannah, Georgia, according to a video posted at The Blaze.
Frankly, I don’t know how that place could even BE considered a ‘church’
Jackson not only defends it, he promotes it.
