Full Title:"Not The World Real World";Obama Administration Officials May Have Pressured Government Contractors to Change JobL oss estimates Associated With Coal Regulations, Audio Recordings Reveal.
The tapes show that unnamed officials with the Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSM) asked government contractors to change their calculations of job losses associated with the Stream Protection Rule.
A preliminary draft of an environmental impact statement estimated that up to 7,000 coalminers could lose their jobs under the administrations preferred regulation. After a leaked copy of the report went public, officials asked the contractors to compare job estimates to a model in which another regulation was enforced, rather than the real world numbers.
Its not the real world, this is rulemaking, an OSM official tells a skeptical contractor on the recording.
If were to assume [the 2008 rule] is enforced in the coal-producing states, this is a very small [impact], the contractor replies. But that, as you said, is not the real world, thats pretending I thought we were looking at whats going to change in Kentucky, whats going to change in Pennsylvania, whats going to change in Ohio, whats going to change in Wyoming.
When a second OSM official makes light of the theoretical discussion, the contractor shoots back that his [the OSM officials proposed criteria] was theoretical, mine was practical.
The agency fired the contractors studying the rule less than one month later.
The House Natural Resources Committee obtained the tapes from an unidentified third party after OSM provided heavily redacted transcriptsthe exchange above, for example, was blacked outand withheld the audio recordings.
Rep. Bill Johnson (R., Ohio) blasted the administrations refusal to cooperate with the investigation.

"May you come to the attention of those in authority" (sometimes rendered "May the government be aware of you"). This is sometimes quoted as "May you come to the attention of powerful people." (Alternately, "important people".) "May you find what you are looking for." This is sometimes quoted as "May your wishes be granted."
I wonder if times are interesting enough for all the stuff happening to us is considered a curse.
At the beginning when the bloom was starting to get off the rose, we heard all kinds of stuff about Obama's less than perfect qualifications for OOO (Oval Office Occupant). He wasn't the Administrator type, Never could cut down a 9-5 job. More. Now they're goonna start saying , he wasn't much of a math student.
Obama voters should know if he does this to them; he will do it to you.
Obama lied his way to the top and he’ll lie to stay on top.
:...all the stuff happening to us is considered a curse....”
Nothing is just “happening” to us.
It’s being DONE to us, deliberately, fully planned out, and with much malice aforethought.
This sh*t doesn’t just happen. The commie/socialist left and their liberal allies have been salivating over this moment for a long, long time.
We need more people like that contractor in government.
