During a press conference at the NATO summit in Chicago on Monday, President Barack Obama responded to remarks that Newark, N.J., Mayor Cory Booker made on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday regarding attacks on private equity, including Bain Capital.
Obama said this was not a “distraction” and that he had to look at the entire economy “from top-to-bottom.”
“Well first of all, I think Cory Booker is an outstanding mayor and doing great work in Newark and obviously helping to turn that city around. I think it is important to recognize this issue is not a quote, ‘distraction.’ This is part of the debate that we’re going to be having in this election campaign about how do we create an economy where everybody, from top-to-bottom, folks on Wall Street and folks on Main Street, have a shot at success? If they are working hard and they are acting responsibly, they are able to live out the American dream.”
Obama reiterated that point and said that the debate would be what the presidential election would ultimately be about.

Obama’s focus on Bain really means he’s going after all eeevill capitalist profiteers.

Obama shows his ignorance every time he opens his mouth; Newark isn’t “turning around” and Booker isn’t an outstanding mayor.
O certainly wants to avoid discussing the mess he’s made of the economy and health care. Neither does he want to discuss the mess he’s made of his origins (and for sure he wants to keep avoiding discussing his qualifications for the job in the first place). But yes, Bain Company and “The One Percent” (to which O hisself belongs)...and now his group is “revealing” 150 year old LDS history for us.....they will say ANYTHING about ANYTHING, even gay sex and Mastrubation Month, so long as they can keep controlling the discoussion topics this way to steer them as far from the economy and health care and job quals as they possibly can. They only have to keep coming up with these ridiculous topics and distorted allegations for a few more months and then, voila, it will be Re-Election Day....and half the country’s conservatives will stay home out of disappointment with the R candidate or else sheer nausea from this sickening campaign. Hang on to your barf bag...its just beginning!
