Do these nitwits think we’re not going to see this.

And we are 6 months out.
Romney isnt even the nominee officially.

And that's the point. We need to show up AT THE TAMPA CONVENTION to turn this thing around.
A million or two of us there could change history.

Time for tea.

This poll is of adults, the numbers don’t mean a thing.

If nobody could beat Romney in the Primary, or even entered the Primary to try, why can/ should they now ?

And if you say it was “Romneys dirty tricks” then I hope he uses every single one of them on Obama. He was my last choice, well actually Obama is my last choice, but I will vote for the nominee. Primaries were held, people voted.

Reagan was supposedly losing by like 30 points at this time in 1980, wasn't he? ha! I think this stat is true, but I was 10 so maybe I remember it wrong. But a tie at this point is actually a + Romney big time. (Incumbency, recognition, etc)

Gov Palin can never run because as gov of AK should took on the powers to be. Established families and big corporations that controlled how things were done in AK. A gov from a small populated state gets crucified by the MSM (controlled by corporate America); establishment and elites. A lot of anger against a person whose political career is rather short compared to others. If you been around long enough you pick up on things like that and always wonder what is really going on behind the scenes. She is doing the right thing, use her media presence to move the GOP and earn good money while doing it.

“However, we need to admit that roughly 50/50 is the new norm in politics.”

You are right, but not because liberals and conservatives are split 50:50. Instead, this is the result of having only 2 parties; each one wants to take its base and add just enough from the middle to win 50.1% of the vote. Obama had to manufacture the “war on women” because without cutting some pieces from the middle he has little chance; there are not enough public school teachers, unassimilated permanently dependent minorities, and homosexual deviants to get him elected (that is his base). The Dems had to cripple the “white” birthrate by economic means in the hopes that the open borders policy will add enough in the “unassimilated permanently dependent minorities” category to bring them closer to 50% in their base (they were using blacks for this, until young whites started breeding in the same manner - they couldn’t deny them government benefits on skin color alone).

The media has been on the left’s side since Vietnam; it is only in the past 20 years or so that is was so open about it. There is no longer any pretense of impartiality.

The Obama Wall, just like the one between East and West Germany. It divides towns, families and faiths.

“Another skewed poll: Rats 32%, Republicans 22%, Ind 38%.”
Thank you for digging this out. When a “poll” like this comes out from the Washington Post or another Democrat cheerleading group, the bast way to get the truth is to scroll down until you find someone posted the breakdown. Of course there will be 60 or more “We're doomed I tell ya; we're all doomed!” posts first but eventually some cool head will come to the rescue.
The verdict is this “poll” is not a poll but a wishful thinking Op Ed. As to Rasmussen's poll, he has Obama gaining 10 points during the worst week of the campaign so far - those for want to believe he will win because we have a bad candidate (and we do) have to explain that.
Rasmussen put his thumb on the scale to make a race out of a landslide. If he says it is a landslide to soon he loses readers and money.

Washington Post-ABC News Poll

This Washington Post-ABC News poll was conducted by telephone May 17 to 20, 2012, among a random national sample of 1,004 adults, including landline and cell phone-only respondents. The results from the full survey have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points. Sampling, data collection and tabulation by Abt-SRBI of New York.

Bullshit.

“I can’t vote for anyone Republican or Democrat, who:

1. Implemented Gay Marriage
2. Supported Abortion
3. Nominated 27 out of 36 extreme left-wing Progressive Liberal judges
4. Implemented an “Assualt” Weapons ban.
5. Implemented Socialized Medicine with a $50 Abortion
6. Raised taxes/fees by $700 million.
7. Implemented a Carbon Cap and Trade system
8. Supported Amnesty for Illegals via McCain-Kennedy.
9. Supported the Brady Bill
10. Supported and forced Gay Adoption
11. Supported Global Warming.”

Too bad that won’t fit in a tag line.

So you think Romney will lose the South? Then you have a scoop.

As for all the crying in your beer, it’s called politics. I supported every “more conservative” frontrunner, but they lost and for various reasons.

Maybe the 5% “third party” vote someone else sited here will put Obama back in office. Real smart.

Your list is in the past tense for a reason.

Romney has run to the right of the republican field for the past two presidential election cycles. But you’ll elect Obama over that.

And you will never elect a conservative again because you are going to live in a country with a solid left wing Supreme Court, illegal aliens are going to be given citizenship and the vote, etc. Romney opposes illegal immigration and amnesty but that’s ok, elect Obama.

You will stay home and you will wake up in the country you lost and you deserve it. However, I don’t.

Since the pollsters are well aware of the bias dependent upon the sample it is great to see that they have to stoop to such tricks to give the Left a little hope. What are they going to do when even “adults” shows The Disaster down by ten points? Poll Martians?

Had Palin declared she would now be the candidate no matter what the mythical establishment wanted or wants. My suspicion is that she did not declare because of her concern over the attacks it would have unleashed on her family by the Left.

I can’t blame her for not subjecting those she loved to such an onslaught. Most politicians are too ambitious and selfish to show such care.

A GOP takeover of Congress will check most, if not all, of Mitt’s bad ideas. He will not be a dictator (unlike The Disaster).

Let’s face it there is NO candidate with even the slightest chance of winning who would satisfy the Lovers of Losers. If there are more than a handful of Senators or 10% of the House who could meet their “purity” tests I would be shocked.

Any other candidate would be called the same stupid names and claimed to be twins of The Disaster. But the good thing is that none of that matters since we are dealing with tiny minorities who feel that way.

How amusing that you must quote a man whom most of your fellow travelers believe to be the essence of the Big Government proponents. A man that the vast majority of the far Right believe to be evil to his core. Needless to say, Hamilton was one of the greatest men this nation ever had and the greatest political philosopher the Western hemisphere ever produced so it is good to see him quoted even if the quote is not used as he intended. He would definitely oppose The Disaster at every chance.

I presume it is a quotation coming from the election of 1800 and explains his opposition to Aaron Burr rather than Jefferson, his mortal enemy. You will note that he did NOT refuse to make a choice knowing full well how much of a crook Burr was. Even the fact that Jefferson was only slightly less of one than Burr did not cause Hamilton to take your route.

But he knew that Burr was a potential Cataline and refused to concede the Federalist vote for him in spite of his wooing of them. Jefferson he considered far less dangerous because he was “a temporizing man” who could be worked with.

It was his political opposition to Burr which cost him his life, a life totally devoted to the creation and preservation of the Union.

I say that was part of it. I’ll also say the conservitive vote was slip between to many people allowing Romney to win states with 35%-40% of the vote.

Romney will not use any of his dirty tricks on Obama. For one, he will be unable to out spend Obama.

Romney supported (wink, wink) assorted Super PACS will go after Obama. And if he was only able to win a plurality of the vote , it's because we as conservatives could not come together around a candidate more conservative soon enough. But he still won, and that's the way elections work.

Ask Bill Clinton in ‘92. He won the Presidency with no majority vote, not that he's a good example. But I never thought anyone would make me like Clinton, if only a little bit. Until I met Obama.

I will vote for the Republican nominee, because attempting to change at this point will only help Obama. Candidates had the choice to enter the Primary or not, to get people to vote for them, and it didn't happen. You say Romney only got 40% of the vote, but others got less. That's the way it goes.

I don’t see any superpac getting ready to attack Obama..

Your right, to many choices and we conservatives while being accused of being mind numb robots are anything but. So we fractured and supported our candidate out of the 6 or 7 and Romney got the Rino and cross over.

You go right ahead and vote Romney. I can’t and won’t support him based on his record.
