Will the strategy of highlighting Mitt Romneys track record at Bain Capital do more to damage the Republican nominee, or Barack Obama? A poll released yesterday by Rasmussen suggests that it might do more damage to Obamas re-election efforts than it will to his challenger. Only 33% of a sample of 1,000 likely voters say that Romneys record at Bain was a reason to vote against him, while 44% believe it boosts his candidacy:
Democrats have begun criticizing Mitt Romneys business record, but a plurality of voters view the Republicans business past as a positive.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 44% of Likely U.S. Voters believe that Romneys track record in business is primarily a reason to vote for him. Thirty-three percent (33%) see his business career as chiefly a reason to vote against him. Twenty-two percent (22%) are undecided.
It may also tend to boost Romneys credibility on the overall economy while pointing to Obamas deficiencies:
Fifty-five percent (55%) voters believe venture capital companies are better at creating jobs than government programs are. Only 26% see government programs as better job creators. Nineteen percent (19%) are not sure. Thats essentially unchanged from January.

Mr. Obama and his lot really CAN’T count after all.
Well, when one has no viable record upon which to run, one must attack, attack, attack!
Never fear, the “Drive-By-Media” has a new target....Ann Romney’s horses.
bawahhhhhhh!!!! good one.. AR’s horses indeed.

But.. but it should be almost 100 percent for the people!

And they are probably folks in the tank for Obama anyway...
Poor Obama!...He’s pissing in the wind on all fronts!
One word: landslide!
Maybe they can unleash a new high school shooter to change the subject. Or something gayish.
Or blame Bush for something!
If they are within 3%, they can manufacture the votes they need to win.
Our job is to make sure the margin of victory is at least 10%.
Once again, Lucy pulls away the football at the last minute and Charlie “Obama” Brown lands flat on his back, looking up at the stars!
For those of us not subjecting ourselves to the MSM et al: what’s the story about Romney & Bain?
He already has. They’re running in battleground states and on the interwebs. Pretty powerful.
