Obama suffers defections in Ark. and Ky. primaries

President Obama headed toward wins in both primaries Tuesday in Arkansas and Kentucky, but suffered losses of about 40 percent of the vote in each contest against token opposition.

Over four in 10 Democratic voters in Kentucky's primary on Tuesday chose the "uncommitted" option versus President Barack Obama, who won the state's primary.

And perennial candidate John Wolfe, Jr. took just about 40 percent of the primary vote versus Obama in Arkansas, according to early returns tabulated by the Associated Press. (Wolfe won't be awarded any delegates, either.)

The president's performance in both contests carries no substantive importance; Obama has already scored the necessary delegates in previous caucuses and primaries to be re-nominated by Democrats, and he wasn't expected to win either Arkansas or Kentucky in the general election versus Mitt Romney.

But the primaries carry a degree of symbolic weight, if only to fuel Republicans' gawking about how an incumbent president could fare so poorly in primaries despite facing no meaningful opponent.

I get the feeling obama and Biden are going to get cut from the team.

No way they'll win re-election, and that's really saying something.

Romney is the most easily beaten candidate ever fielded by the gopE.

Who needs those bitter, bible-clutching, gun-clinging, anti-immigrant, anti-trade xenophobes anyway?

Romney will get lots of help of the kind he needs, but doesn’t want, this fall... he can play Kentucky Fried Gentleman II all he wants to Obama, not bringing up stinker issues like Ayers and Wright, but due to campaign finance restrictions meeting their death at the USSC, GOP super-PACs can and will bring up these stinker issues.

ABO sentiment is strong and getting stronger by the day.
Romney is one lucky dude to be running in 2012. Even McCain would win in 2012.

We Conservatives are a small voting block, but since Romney is probably going to lose in a very close election, we are an ESSENTIAL voting block to the RNC.

If the RNC wants to win the 2012 National Presidential and Congressional, they must have our full support.

We impressed them with our 2010 efforts, but the RNC has done NOTHING to put the values of our 89 Warriors into effect.

We now hold the balance of power, IF WE INSIST ON AN OPEN CONVENTION.

Without an Open Convention the GOP-E will choose weak Candidate Romney to lose to Obama, just like they did with lame-brain McCain in 2008.

If the RNC overrules their own stupid Primary Rules, then there is the POSSIBILITY that the Delegates will choose a stellar Conservative Dark Horse that we can promote with vigor to topple Dictator (in his own mind) Obama.

Ponder these ideas, chat with others, and let’s visit again on this unique opportunity to not only beat Obama, but slaughter Obama and his Marxist ideas in a massive election Republican Landslide.

Even on the VERY slim chance that Romney squeaks by Obama in November, the Federal problems we have today will be worse in 4 years with Romney as POTUS.

If the RNC wants to win this election, they need us. Let us bring that fact to their attention by a vigorous, grass-roots Campaign for an OPEN Convention.

What say all of you?

I was an election judge yesterday in my precinct. When we printed the end of day tapes I was surprised to see that Obama had not only received only 50 percent of the vote but that about a third of the Democrats didn’t even bother to make a selection for a Presidential candidate. If the undervote had been considered I think he would have had an even poorer showing than he did.

I heard a commentator on WTOP in Washington this morning say that race was probably a factor. Of course, it had nothing to do with Obama’s performance or policies. It was the Klan loving, illiterate, backwoods, snake handling, shotgun toting, bootlegging, Bible thumping, toothless, inbred residents (leftist caricature) of those states that are not enlightened enough to understand the awesomeness of The One!

I just read the article on the Drudge Report asking if those results are racism. What I can’t figure out is, if it’s racism, why did he overwhelmingly win four years ago? Did these voters just realize he was black?

This is the left’s caricature of residents of those states. My Mom grew up picking cotton near Enterprise, Alabama, and I still have a lot of family there. They are conservative, God fearing, hard working people and as redneck as the day is long. They are generous, wonderful people. I was at a pig roast in November on my cousin’s farm (300 people or so), and had a great time. Hey, maybe this November you ought to come on down! They’d fight over whose house you would stay at, and you would be treated like royalty. Just don’t mention Auburn or Obama! Seriously, I take offense at their demeaning of residents in rural red states.

I can guarantee you that I probably ate more collard greens, fried chicken, cornbread, and watermelon than Barack and Michelle ever will, and I’m a white guy who grew up outside Philly!

Indeed. then follow up their accusation with the following...

“HOW DARE YOU” and make a monsterous scene. Lay into them both barrels with questions like “Do you realize what that accusation implies?” “Do you have any idea how many people died at the hands of actual racists and you so freely brandish that accusation over a difference of political opinion?” “What kind of a person are you?”

I promise you that person will NEVER do it again in fear of more humiliation. They might think it, but if we all responded with those words, we’d never hear a peep from the media...because they’d be to scared to have it played on you tube.
