COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — President Barack Obama is telling graduates of the U.S. Air Force Academy that they are the first class in nearly a decade to graduate into a world that has no Osama bin Laden, no war in Iraq and no questions about when the war in Afghanistan will end.
The president declared that there is a "new feeling about America." He said the work of ending one war and setting the path to end the Afghan war has set a foundation for what he called "a new era of American leadership."
Obama's commencement speech carried clear themes of his re-election bid.
He asserted that America is exceptional and more respected now. And he reiterated his economic vision of cutting the debt but putting more money into education, science, manufacturing and innovation.
President Barack Obama is delivering his final commencement speech of the season, addressing graduates of the U.S. Air Force Academy before pivoting to political fundraising out West.

The great ‘exalted leader’ Omaba pimps himself to the Air Force Academy graduates with another ‘all about how the whole world loves ME’ speech & tells them what a highly respected leader he is - as he runs around campaigning on the tax payer dime.
Obama did a lot to give our troops, aircrew & sailors a bad ending in Iraq and Afghanistan. He telegraphed that we were bugging out early to AQ & the Taliban, plus he made it obvious to those in those countries who were favorable to the US, we would abandon them. Expect a picture on your TV of a helicopter on the roof of the US Embassy in Kabul evacuating the staff.

I would say that there was not much choice on the academy’s part plus mac daddy had a captive audience who also had no choice but to be there and hear one lie after another.
America now sucks and we all feel it.
....no jobs, something like $200,000 of debt for each future taxpayer born into the country, potential health care that will bankrupt millions of Americans and/or allow them to die when all health care is provided by the government, housing market that will be screwed up for another generation, etc., etc.
Yes, I suspect he told the AF Academy that he was going to be the speaker. He saw it as a great photo/campaign op to try to convince us all that he’s a great peacetime CIC.

I was stationed at Fort Carson, CO. during the regime of Jimmy Carter, when I bailed out of the Army (which was a mistake) cuz’ I couldn’t stand the Commander in Chief. Little did I know a great president named Ronald Reagan would take his place. How I wished I would have served under him!
Serving under Clinton would have been loathsome as he and Hitlery hated the military.
Now we are facing Jimmy Carter’s second term. No better than the first.
