This Massachusetts Freeper salutes all of you for your often under appreciated efforts to make sure that the liberal moonbat antiwar voices were not the only ones that our troops heard.

Growing up in a military family in the sixties and seventies and seeing how our veterans were treated post-Vietnam, I had vowed I would never again stand silently by and watch it happen.

Thanks to all of you, I had a viable option to fulfill that vow.

I am grateful to all of you for that, and for the opportunity to have met you and stood with you on those rare occasions I was able to participate.

All of you, the Trooprallys, CTS, Guns, Frax, Concrete Bob, Lurker Bill, kristinn, BufordP, and so many more, I feel that I have made friends for life. You know the kind...even if you don’t see them for 10 years, when you do, it is as if no time has passed.

And a special thanks to you two, Mr. and Mrs. Trooprally. I thank you both for the most obvious hospitality you have rendered me, my family (Mike and Al) and friends (veeram) whenever we have been in the area.

But mort of all, I thank you for your dogged persistence, dedication, and effort in your support of our military. Most people on FR will never know, but I do, in spades.

Of all things, your courage to say what needed saying, when it needed saying in the face of obnoxious opposition, was the epitome of patriotism.

Principles without courage is wasted. Courage without principles is futile. But courage with principles is a powerful combination.

That the troops in Walter Reed took notice of the efforts you spearheaded is clear, and it is the gratitude of those who most consistently display both courage and principles that counts the most.

Yep, better late than never concerning our Vets. If the internet was available back during Vietnam, our Vets would be receiving the same support that our current Vets are receiving. Most people just did not know that there were so many patriots out there. The media sure screwed our Vets just as they are trying to screw them now.

Yep, Walter Reed could not have been so successful if it were not for patriots as yourself, Veeram and CDfingers.

And a humble thank you for your kind words about [Mrs] T and myself.

[Mr] T
