Obama: We need five more years

ATHERTON, Calif. – President Barack Obama told an intimate crowd gathered at the family estate of the heir to the Levi Strauss & Co. fortune that he has started to steer the ship in the right direction.
“We’ve set a path and a target," he said, "and a direction where this is again a country where everybody gets a fair shot, everybody does their fair share, everybody plays by the same set of rules.”
The president ticked off accomplishments of his first term – from toughening fuel efficiency standards to health care reform. But he also noted a few things he wants to do in the future, including rebuilding the country’s infrastructure and tackling climate change “in a serious way.” His agenda, he suggested is far from complete.
“We may not even finish it in five years,” Obama told roughly 70 supporters at the $35,800 per head dinner. “But I certainly need five more years to get us locked in on where we need to go.”
The hosts, philanthropists Doug and Lisa Goldman, held the event at a leafy, family compound called “Green Shutters” and guests included actor Don Cheadle, vice chair emeritus of AOL Jan Brandt, and Google executives Susan Wojcicki and Dennis Troper.

Ah, the Five Year Plan. That is how the communists operate. Remember Mao’s “Great Leap Forward”? How did that turn out? Oh, there’s that “Forward” word again. Coincidence? I think not.
I hate it when nobody asks them what specific Bush economic policies they are talking about, when they blame Bush's economic policies. If they ever were asked about a specific policy, they would crap their pants. Even if they did come up with one, the follow up question should be: "Please explain to our viewers what the ppolicy was, and HOW it resulted in economic downturn".

I absolutely cannot understand why the people putting on these fundraising functions for him can’t see what the rest of us see. TOTAL HYPOCRISY! Demonize successful people/companies and then beat a path to their door to talk about some not paying their fair share... Isn’t it obvious (to anyone with a working brain) that he’s talking about the very people who are hosting and applauding his presence?
I guess as long as no one calls him on it OR the people bending over backwards to hand their money to him, it will just go on and on and on! Someone needs to put this question to Carney. He couldn’t possibly do much worse than he did two days ago..

Shame - the host’s namesake was a classic example of American capitalism, selling jeans to the gold miners and getting rich himself.

Then ask him to indicate the precise point in the past to which he wants to go back. I think I can kinda guess…
Hope he cleared this statement with Holder and his people. Of course, there is that weasel word "fair" in it.

And if it's not his continued talk like this to his fellow Socialists and Marxists, then it's condemning and face-slapping talk to country-loving Americans like the Joplin residents or the Air Force Academy grads.
FINALLY, the poor are going to pay taxes (play by same rules).
FINALLY the welfare state will have to do menial jobs to earn their money (doing their fair share).
FINALLY the borders will be shut down.(everybody get a fair shot)
