I’m surprised that The Sun reported this at all. The MSM has a habit of covering up satanic ritual abuse. Media owners don’t usually call attention to the crimes of their fellow luciferians.

If she’s not insane, she’s so deluded that it’s hard to know what to do with her. Maybe as Vendome said, just toss her in a cell and let her live with what she did for the rest of her life. Killing her by any of the ordinary means wouldn’t be adequate punishment.

I don’t know where the newspaper got the term “Satanic ritual” (except by inference from how evil the act itself was). One relative said it was to “cast the demon out” — that wouldn’t be done to worship Satan. Maybe it was a misguided attempt to comply with Matthew 18:9 (”And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.”)

Ban spoons? Yes, if she’d used a gun, some people would be calling for a ban on guns.

The paper said the left eye was there but out of the socket. I wonder if the nerves were still attached and some of his sight might still be saved.

I just checked the net, and apparently this story isn't very accurate (though the grisliness hasn't been exaggerated). According to this Mexican story, this was not a Satanic ritual. The mother and the rest of the family "profesa la fe cristiana" [profess the Christian faith] and had been praying since Monday for God to help them "combatir al demonio y evite el Apocalipsis" ["combat the Devil -- probably 'the Devil' here instead of 'the demon', 'demonio' can mean both -- and avoid the Apocalypse"].

This story doesn't say anything about a spoon. It says that when the child refused to close his eyes during the prayer, "María del Carmen...colocó las manos en su cabeza y clavó los dedos en los ojos del niño. [María del Carmen put her hands on his head, and gouged her fingers into the child's eyes].
