Bengladesh is one of the world's poorest countries ~ a regular 4th World sort of place. They can discover oil this year and have it pumping next year.

The United States is still the world's wealthiest nation ~ the very epitome of the 1st World.

They can discover oil in Alaska 25 years ago and the Democrats will tell you it can't be pumped for at least a decade at best.
