There is actually a sect in Japan which claims Jesus escaped to Japan, married and had children. His little brother bought the time necessary for the escape by allowing himself to be crucified in the place of Jesus.
The sect has a couple hundred followers. I don't believe them, but at least they are generally nice people and don't go around chopping off heads of those who disagree with their brand of theology.

In the Barnabas text held by Turkey, chapter 41 states: “God has hidden himself as Archangel Michael ran them (Adam and Eve) out of heaven, (and) when Adam turned, he noticed that at top of the gateway to heaven, it was written ‘La elah ela Allah, Mohamad rasool Allah,’” meaning Allah is the only God and Muhammad his prophet.But a week later it was written in the same place, "Eat at Joe's Restauarant. Best burgers anywhere!"
