During that case and similar weapons trafficking operations, ATF allowed thousands of weapons to fall into the hands of Mexican drug cartels. The idea was to capture the "big fish" in a cartel.

There is ZERO evidence that any traditional police procedures were used to 'capture the big fish'. The guns had NO tracking devices... etc.

Does anyone know of anything done that would 'capture big fish'? Anything? This looks a lot more like someone was intentionally arming drug cartels...
