Superfan Michelle Obama jets to Atlantic City for Beyonce's sell-out concert

Michelle Obama jetted in to Atlantic City last night to join 5,500 fans at a Beyonce concert. The first lady was with daughters Sasha and Malia - but without her husband - at Revel Resorts, where Beyonce performed two dozen songs Saturday night.

The First Lady has made no secret of her admiration for the superstar - recently naming Beyonce as the person she would most like to be if she could be anyone else.

Governor Chris Christie was among the sell-out crowd packed into Revel's Ovation Hall. Mrs Obama and the girls appeared excited throughout the concert, cheering Beyonce on. The daughters even sang along to the old school-sounding jam Love On Top. The first lady got a roaring cheer that matched Beyonce's as she made her way to her seat in a shiny green dress. Some fans took photos while others screamed her name. One yelled, 'This is history!' Mrs Obama is due back in Washington on Monday for Memorial Day events before she heads to New York to continue promoting her new book about the White House Kitchen Garden.
