To anyone born of God, there is no lift in the spirit from reading such words, only a vexing at the deadness issuing from them. In contrast, Paul (the apostle's) words"But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for Gods holy people"excite and terrify (because of the seeming impossibility, as we are by God's own design sexual creatures).
God's standards are impossibly high, leading us to Christ as the only One who could keep them for us and as us. The attempt to legitimize homosexuality is a spiritual dead end unsupported by the Lord Jesus.
