and I told her everyday we ride in the PGR,
it’s like Memorial Day.
Riding in the Honor Guard really brings it home for me.

The Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Memorial Association cordially invites everyone to attend this year’s annual Memorial Day observance. The ceremony, inaugurated in 1902, is the city’s largest and most solemn. It honors the memory of all those who have served our country, as well as the spirit of Memorial Day as a national ritual of reflection, remembrance, and celebration.
