We have sent the Tea Party Express "Mobile Call Center" down to Texas for the final push before TOMORROW'S election!

Sorry to interrupt your Memorial Day, but we here at the Tea Party Express want to thank you for your support of conservative Texas U.S. Senate candidate Ted Cruz and want to show you what we are doing to ensure that conservatives show up to the polls tomorrow to vote.

In a campaign first, we have harnessed cutting edge technology with good old fashioned Tea Party passion and present to you the Tea Party Express "Mobile Call Center":

The Tea Party Express "Mobile Call Center" is traversing across Texas calling on conservatives to get out and vote

The "Mobile Call Center" is much like a traditional call center but it gives us the flexibility to travel from city to city picking up volunteers and gathering excitement for Tea Party candidates.

Reagan always said the power of a democracy is in an informed and engaged electorate. The Mobile Phone Center Bus is one of our ways to create just that. Ted Cruz, along with local Tea Party volunteers, will be joining us to utilize this state-of-the-art technology to make calls to voters. We will have 15 workstations on the bus, each with its own laptop and headset. Volunteers will have the opportunity to call their fellow Texans, share Cruz’s conservative credentials, and encourage voters to turnout at the polls

This new strategy will extremely effective in turning out conservatives, but there is significant cost associated with its execution.  We are calling on all Tea Party supporters to make a contribution to help us keep the "Mobile Call Center" rolling!

As we mentioned, the "Mobile Call Center" is down in Texas educating voters about Ted Cruz.  The Tea Party Express endorsed Texas U.S. Senate candidate has gotten national attention recently due to his surge in the polls, the Tea Party Express rallies throughout Texas supporting his candidacy, and the endorsement of Sarah Palin.

The election is only 1 DAYS away!  We must build on the momentum that Sarah Palin, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Mark Levin, Rand Paul and other conservatives have provided us with.  The polls are tightening and Ted Cruz is closing in on his opponent David Dewhurst.
.
Just like in Indiana, the Tea Party candidate is surging at just the right time, but we need your immediate support to push him ahead!

Governor Sarah Palin wrote: “We’re proud to join conservatives in Texas and throughout the nation in supporting your (Ted Cruz) campaign to become the next Senator from the Lone Star State.”

.
If you haven't heard about Ted Cruz, here is a little about why we have endorsed him and are fighting to send him to Washington:
.
Ted Cruz is a self-professed child of the Reagan revolution.  His parents fled Cuba after experiencing an oppressive government and instilled in Ted a profound respect and appreciation for freedom.  He understands that it is not our government that makes America run, but our entrepreneurial spirit.  He made money as a kid by reciting the Constitution from memory to Rotary Clubs in Texas and giving speeches on free-market economics.
.
As Solicitor General of Texas from 2003-2008, Cruz authored 80 U.S. Supreme Court briefs and personally argued 40 oral arguments, including 9 before the Supreme Court.  Named “a Republican star rising in Texas” and “a great Reaganite hope” by the National Review, Ted Cruz has led the fight against Obama’s offshore drilling moratorium and for private property rights for Americans.  His “Growth and Jobs Agenda” promotes a limited government plan that pledges to repeal ObamaCare and Dodd-Frank, kill Cap and Trade, and dramatically simplify the tax code.

Ted Cruz at the Tea Party Express Endorsement Press Conference in Dallas, Texas

We were honored to travel around the great state of Texas with him last month to endorse his campaign and hope that you will be as excited as we are about his candidacy.  We just held numerous rallies for Ted Cruz all across Texas this last week to rally support as part of our "Restoring the American Dream" bus tour.

We have a great candidate that we all need to support to send him to Washington!

One of Tea Party Express’ top priorities in 2012 is to elect a conservative majority to the U.S. Senate, and thanks to patriots like Ted Cruz, we are well on our way to doing just that.  But we need your support if we are going to be successful and finish the work we all started in 2010.

If I wanted to get intrusive calls, I’d not be on the do not call list. I think in the general election, I’ll keep count, and vote for the candidate that robo calls me the least.

In any event, this is a couple of weeks late - most folks that are going to vote have already voted.

So you are on the do not call list, and that gets you robo calls? Sounds just like the government

These aren't robo calls, they are human calls.

I think you would be surprised how many people vote on voting day.

But good try, attempting to get me to tell the call center people to shut down the operation, PAR says it won't help.

Thanks for bumping the thread!

Political calls are exempt from the do not call list.

I think you would be surprised how many people vote on voting day.

I would be surprised if it's more than the number who have early voted, which is likely over 500k, especially since the numbers suggest more and more people are taking advantage of early voting.

I think the final total be about a million, but given that election day is the day after Memorial Day, I don't see it being like 2010 or 2008 (1.5 and 1.4 million respectively).

Political calls are exempt from the do not call list.

Just because the corrupt politicians exempted themselves doesn't make me any more willing to listen to their recorded robocalls. If the politician is too stupid (or more likely, too arrogant) to realize I don't want to hear from his machine, he's probably too stupid or arrogant for my vote.

A few years ago, a candidate had her supporters bring by a chip clip with her name on it. I'm still using the clip, and if she runs again, she'll get my vote. Because she's done for me than most of the corrupt political class have done.

Something I can agree with. But don't waste your effort trying to explain it to the carpetbaggers.

3 to 500,000 voters can have a pretty profound impact.

That’s why I think voting day voting is important.

We will just have to disagree on the importance of one vote after another.

Any number of voters can make an impact, but I believe the discussion was about what the turnout would look like on Election Day.

As mentioned previously, I would be surprised if the turnout is that high tomorrow, even though I think the final turnout total will be around 1 million. No Presidential race, ED is the day after Memorial Day, more people early voting will all contribute to a lower turnout tomorrow.

It would be a welcome surprise, if the final turnout resembled 2010, given the factors mentioned above.

Robocalls are the worst investment a campaign can make, imho. Better to have the candidate and his, or her, supporters making the calls.

I like ideas like the chip clip. I know of a few candidates who do small cook books. Things like that are a nice touch.

One local candidate put his campaign slogan “Here to Serve You!” on a pot holder (the kitchen kind).
