Holder to Black Leaders: Sacred Right to Vote Under Attack (Talks to CBC and Black Churches)
Politico ^ | Joseph Williams

Attorney General Eric Holder told a council of African American church leaders Wednesday that the "sacred" right to vote is under assault nationwide, with federal lawsuits and at least a dozen state laws that could weaken — or block — minority access to the ballot box this fall.

How long until every black voter gets two votes? Just call it “Critical Vote Theory” and racist blacks and “liberals” will support it.

OK, I know many do so already in big cities controlled by black political machines, but I am talking here about doing it nationwide openly and legally.

By focusing on black churches and the like, HE’s really misrepresenting what’s going on. It’s a real shame that black leaders believe HIM. The numerous voter ID laws are geared to prevent illegals from voting ... those who are not U.S. citizens. The vast majority of those are not black, or African ... they’re Latinos from south of the border.

There is a cost associated with becoming an American citizen, and HE and the libs do not want anyone having to pay that cost. Just showing up in this country does not give anyone the rights of citizenship. If it did, why do we have so many clamoring to comply with the laws to become citizens in a legal way?

I think Kruschev was right when he slammed his shoe on the podium and said “We will bury you!” Those in our government who are sympathetic to Communist teachings have become far too numerous, all the way up to our supposed leadership.

But unlike conspiracy theorists, I don’t believe it’s the result of some grand conspiracy dreamed up by Russia or China. I believe it’s a result of our free society, FDR’s Social Securtity program, LBJ’s Great Society program, and other less publicized and thus less known laws and Supreme Court decisions that have whittled away at the Constitution.

The irony is that the Constitution is the one instrument that allows us to be a free society. It establishes fundamental rules, that if followed, will assure that freedom in perpetuity. Unfortunately as the whittling continues, our freedoms will continue to be eroded; we have less and less ability to continue to maintain that freedom.

The two primary elements of that Constitution that allow us to maintain that freedom are the 1st and 2nd Amendments, both of which have come under severe, escalating attacks of late.

The problem with our citizenry is that they fail to understand that the Constitution is a contract between the Federal Government and State Governments. Those State governments who agreed to become part of this Union have a right to expect the Federal government to honor the agreements made. One of those rights is to uphold the Consititution, and to abide by the requirement in Article V that 2/3 of the States must agree to any amendments before they become law. This is why Presidents and Congress people must swear to uphold the Constitution ... they are not permitted to make changes to the Constitution just because a simple majority of States don’t like its provisions. The States signed on with the understanding that it is so sacred a document that it forms the basis for the laws of the land. And when Congress tries to bypass this requirement by passing laws with simple majority votes, the Constitution provides that the Supreme Court can rule on the validity of such laws. And Amendments can be initiated by the Congress or by the States ... so long as the 2/3 requirement is met. Congress can make laws that are not in violation of the Constitution with a simple majority; however, it cannot change the Constitution with that simple majority as it has done so, so many times ... and the Supreme Court has been complicit in numerous instances by not making rulings consistent with that fundamental document.

I say “No more!” It’s time to require the Government to honor their contract with us. The Government requires us to obey the laws or suffer financial ruin or even imprisonment. We need a better means to make bureaucrats suffer the same consequences when they fail to uphold their oaths of office.

You know Dems love to trot out people and hold them up as an example of all those who will be harmed by passing or opposing whatever legislation they happen to be supporting at the moment?

Have they ever given one example of just who exactly it is that will be denied their right to vote if Voter ID laws go into effect? Have they ever said “Here's Grandma Josephine. She has absolutely no ID whatsoever; no driver's license, no SS card, no photo ID of any kind. And won't or can't get any. If Voter ID is passed she won't be able to vote.”

No. Because there are only 3 kinds of people that will be denied the right to vote if these laws are passed:

1) People who are deceased
2) Illegal aliens
3) Living people who wish to vote more than once.

If there are other people who will be affected (besides the politicians themselves) I'd like to hear about them.

We'll see who goes along with that deal.

I'm of the opinion that HOLDER is more fearful of preventing some other violations:

4) 'Community Organizers' who want to cast votes for live people who are incompetent, and/or reside in assisted living facilities (technically these people are still eligible, legal voters, even though their mental competence may be in question)
5) 'Community Organizers' who, via some sort of subterfuge, cast absentee ballots for live people who are unable to travel to the polls, but who may actually be mentally competent.

Too bad we have one of our most valuable and precious rights that can be stolen from us because politicians don't want us to have to demonstrate that we are the rightful owner of those rights... unlike having to demonstrate much more egregious evidence to drive a car, recover rights guaranteed to us by the Constitution (obtain CCW permits), get a credit card, fly via commercial airline, or leave the country.

It sure is ironic that photo identification is required for a citizen to re-enter this country following overseas travel, than it is for a non-citizen to enter and remain in the country illegally, to vote, or or for political scam artists to steal our elections.

It's not about voting, it's about how to get around the law to:

- Vote when you are not lawfully able to do so...(criminals)
- Suppress the vote of others that may vote differently from you...(NBPP)
- Vote early, and vote often...(Dem norm)
- Voting in place of dead folks, because you know "They'd vote that way anyway!"...(Dem norm)

Keep your eye to the sky, and your powder dry!

(Holder's fans think Fast & Furious) is a movie....The AG is a crook as well as a liar...there is nothing, absolutely nothing Obama's Marxist army will not do or say to keep the White House. It isn't just about Illinois politics, we are looking at the face of the Black Mafia.

Setting the stage to contest the vote in case “zero” loses and the ensuing resultant mau mau campaign ala raila odinga in kenya.

Is Holder also making it absolutely certain that those in the military and those that support them are getting their ballots on time? Will they even be counted if they are dated AND signed in plenty of time for the elections.

...with federal lawsuits and at least a dozen state laws that could weaken — or block — minority access to the ballot box this fall.

Ayup.

"Weakened":

Minorities (and everyone else) will be allowed one vote only.

"Blocked":

If you're dead, you don't get to vote.
