Mary Kennedy went to her grave convinced that her husband, RFK Jr., had a fling with the wife of the man who broke up the marriage of his sister and Andrew Cuomo, The Post has learned.
A heartbroken Mary confided to a group of her closest friends that she believed Robert Kennedy Jr. had an affair with well-connected fund-raiser Ann Colley, two of her confidants told The Post.
One source who claimed to have been told about the purported hookup said that, if true, “an affair with the wife of his sister’s paramour is particularly tacky — even for a Kennedy!”
Mary told friends the alleged affair started after Colley’s polo-playing husband, Bruce, began his highly publicized 2003 fling with Kerry, sparking Kerry’s nasty split from now-Gov. Cuomo.
Bobby Kennedy Jr. had been asked to step in as a peacemaker when the Cuomo-and-Kennedy scandal erupted.
Instead, Mary told friends, Bobby wound up “consoling” Ann, a longtime board member of RFK Jr.’s Riverkeeper environmental group.
Both Cuomo and Ann Colley divorced their spouses in the wake of the scandal.

Mary Kennedy hanged herself in her Westchester home last week.
Friends said she was inconsolable after Bobby filed to divorce her in 2010, cutting her off financially and parading new girlfriends in public.
The purported Colley affair was one of several a devastated Mary claimed she endured for much of her marriage.
“It just broke her heart,” said one friend. “And he didn’t care. He threw it back in her face, again and again.”
Since Mary’s May 19 funeral, the Kennedys — including Kerry, who was a “best friend” and boarding-school roommate of Mary’s — have been very vocal about what they claim was her longtime battle with depression.

RFK's daughter married Mario Cuomo's son, Andy. Then she started banging some guy with a string of poloponies.
RFK's son then attempted to right things by cheating on his own wife with the wife of the guy his sister was banging.
So RFK Jr's wife killed herself and RFK Jr's now banging Larry David's television wife Cheryl Hines, who used to work for Meathead, incidentally.
It is hard to believe that anybody would want to have an affair with any of those butt ugly Kennedys. Yech!

I am still having trouble wrapping my arms around the fact that RFK Jr is actually straight. When I first heard of the suicide, my first thought was he was cheating with another man.

Well, she knew what she was getting into when she married a Kennedy. I have a hard time feeling sorry for women who marry high profile wealthy guys and then get cheated on. Tiger’s wife? Nope don’t feel sorry for her either. They know the deal going in.

If RFK, Jr., really said this in the eulogy, it was tacky and would really get the kids more traumatized but in an effort to get the kids more on his side. He said she resented him for giving up her career to have the kids. Plus the oldest must have known they married when she was pg with him which is not that big of a deal now but you never know how kids will take things.
And if this is to be believed, he had custody of the children and declared her unfit plus got several restraining orders. So she was all alone in that house with a housekeeper and a maxed out credit card over which they'd filed a suit. That would be enough to destroy almost any woman.
I do feel sorry for her but so often what goes around comes around but it always hits hardest the most vulnerable. I wonder if he did everything for her he could. Sounds like he tired of it and moved on to greener pastures, leaving her with no money and took the kids. He had them with his and the new gf at some gala event. They were smiling as kids in these things do.
Unless there was a pre-nup, she should have not taken a financial hit.
If there was a pre-nup, she agreed to take a risk. She knew the likelihood of a lasting relationship was remote; but in her mind was compensated by temporary privilege.

I thought Mary Kennedy looked like a DNA Kennedy too. I wouldn’t say Mary was ugly, but she did look like she could have been one of them by birth.
