I was expounding on this topic to Mrs. Tick just a couple weeks ago (poor girl, “for better or for worse” she has to bear the brunt of it...)

We really ought to have 4,350 representatives!

Maybe then, at least, their @#$%^&* voice mail boxes wouldn’t always be full.

Still won’t hear your voice. Anybody having a spouse/offspring learns ‘selective hearing’ a long time ago.

Even better, make them work from home (telecommute) or have small regional offices. Don’t let them get far from the people they’re supposed to serve.

We really ought to have 4,350 representatives!

You big government lovers kill me. Please. We need to cut them down to about 3 per state. First of all most of them don’t even read the bills that are before them and only vote by party anyway. They cost a fortune and you want to add to the debt by adding another 4 thousand people to the payroll of about 145,000 a piece. You are clinically crazy.
