You are mostly correct in the principal that "America" has nothing to apologize for. Most if not all here agree with that principal.

However this moment is less to do with "America" than a sovereign country being identified with one of the most abominable atrocity known to mankind. Obama claims that because of his living in a foreign land makes him more sensitive and culturally aware. Having the honor of living abroad even I get that comment. However . . . anyone who knows and understand the people of Poland knows how greatly insulting that remark is.

And . . . its no misspeak when one considers Obama having insulted Poland numerous times in the past 4 years with his dismantling of the missile defense, golfing during the funeral of their beloved President, and making a hit and run visit to their country.

No, these people are pissed off and they have every right to be pissed off with our President

Thank you friend...

I am livid, he has absolutely disrespected Poland, got news for that ghetto trash, and polish people know how to take care of trash in their way. And they don’t ask after shooting they just move on.

Merci.

I'm expressing my support for the idea that America has nothing to apologize for period.

Not even Poland is suggesting that *America* needs to apologize. They, and many of us, are demanding that Obama apologize...for Obama.

“No, these people are pissed off and they have every right to be pissed off with our President”

That's cool so are most Americans.

But the time comes when an American president must simply stop apologizing to other nations for every slight whether real or perceived.

As someone said above, I think we are going to have to respectfully agree to disagree on this one.

We agree that an American president should not have to apologize for every sleight.

We disagree that this comment was a sleight.

I and many others do NOT believe he misspoke. Rather his little weasel way of underhand insult.

You are probably right.

Like it or not he is the President and when he speaks he speaks for the USA and when he apologizes he apologizes for the USA. I understand how some see this as more than a slight. I am more offended by an American president apologizing than anything he said in this case..

I’m expressing my support for the idea that America has nothing to apologize for period. A president I dislike made a stupid comment which merits nothing more than a expression of regret from the Office of the President of the United States.

Folks need to get past their hatred of the bastard and start thinking what is best for the country. Having any president jump through hoops of heartfelt apology, political correctness and just plain silliness is not in the interest of this country.

Huh? Poland doesn’t want and isn’t asking for an apology from America the country. They aren’t blaming the American people for what obama said. They want an apology from OBAMA for what HE said. Where on earth did you get the idea the Poles want an apology from the American people?

I wouldn't even serve wet cat food in that ugly dish.

Maybe you can train your cat to cough up his hairballs into the dish.

obama is all too happy to apologize for anything and everything the US has done before he took office. But this isn’t about what the country has done. This is about what HE said, and the narcissistic bastard will not apologize because he thinks he is incapable of doing or saying anything wrong.
