Ya.. like that will fix the problem :/

the problem is not the cup. It’s the hand it’s placed in. I can drink just as much soda at McDonalds with a small or medium cup.

They have free refills after all.

I can see them doing 2 for 1 drinks or selling bottomless cups at the theater. The only effect this ban would have is on drive thru orders.

Not for long. By the time Bloomberg is done, the line in front of the counter at a fast food chain will double as a scale/scanner. You don't need to order, your biometrics will be used to order what is good for you. Just pay and take what they give you.

Not many drive-throughs in NYC. Fewer sef-serve outlets and more take out only, though.
