State House legislators were debating the budget written by Republican leaders. One provision diverted funding for family planning from private providers to local public health departments. Democrats claimed it was an attempt to block any more state funds from going to Planned Parenthood. An amendment was offered by Democrats to take that provision out of the budget. Representative Jennifer Weiss (D-Wake) called it a continuation of the the Republicans’ “war on women.” That brought an angry rebuff from Rep. John Blust (R-Guilford):

I’ve always thought a great response to ‘a woman’s right to choose’ would be to sarcastically point out that if one didn’t care about the baby boys being aborted, how about the half that are female?
Funny, the Dems claim that the Republicans have a war on women, yet it’s the Dems who went after Bristol Palin, Sarah pailin, Michelle Malkin, etc etc.. basically any woman that didn’t sit face down in the trough of the Dem Ideology, they waged war on.
Since it inception Planned Parenthood has been a fascist eugenics program. It targets poor, black women in order to reduce the black population. It targets prenatal girls for slaughter. It is a vile and evil cabal.
Yes.
But they refuse to acknowledge that fact.
