In honor of the 150th anniversary celebrations of the Civil War (or whatever other name you use) Abraham Lincoln Vampire Killer.
There aren’t any.
No, not even The Avengers.
This may help you pick a movie. Follow the instructions.
MATH QUIZ :
Reveals your favorite movie!!
I am very good at math, so I did it in my head, then on paper, and finally on a calculator just to confirm my numerical capabilities.
Each time I got the same answer, and sure enough it IS my very favorite movie EVER!
DO NOT scroll down to the movies. Do OUR math, THEN compare the results to the list of movies at the bottom
You will be AMAZED at how scary true and accurate this test is.
1. Pick a number from 1-9.
2. Multiply that number by 3.
3. Add 3.
4. Multiply by 3 again.
5. Your total will be a two digit number.
Add the first and second digits together to find your favorite movie ( of all time ) in the list of 17 movies below:
1. Gone With the Wind
3. Blazing Saddles
4. Star Wars
5. Forrest Gump
6. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
9. The Obama Farewell Speech of 2012
11. Jurassic Park
13. Pirates of the Caribbean
15. Raiders of the Lost Ark
16. Home Alone
17. Mrs. Doubtfire
Now, isn’t that something?
I like how you rigged that one. ;)
You won’t be sorry.
How about Dark Knight Rises???
Here's the trailer:
If it’s made in Hollyweird, it’s crap.
Dude, you’re incorrect. The Avengers is a Great Summer Movie and must be experienced big screen. MIB III however is a rental. For more down-to-Earth fare, I think the Andy Garcia movie opens soon, about persecution of the Church in Mexico.
Piranha 3DD - she’ll love it!!
“No Greater Glory”, about the Cristero War in Mexico (if you want a serious flick about religious rights)
My new all-time favorite. Does that make me a racist? Or a homophobe?
“...for my sweetie and ME.”
If the Hunger Games is still in theatres, I recommend it. Great film.
The entire 'Lovejoy Mysteries' series (eight years of material), good stuff. The Perot series of movies with David Suchet as Perot.
“Summer Magic” (Hayley Mills - Disney)- my wife wants to watch this every summer.
Also, “Polyanna” (Hayley Mills - Disney)- another one of her favorites.
There are no new movies. Watch old ones instead:
The Princess Bride
Its a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World
Planes, Trains & Automobiles
My Cousin Vinny
Ground Hog Day
The Sound of Music
As Good As It Gets
Air Force One
The Pelican Brief
Postcards from the Edge
The Chronicles of Narnia
Night at the Museum
Go to a drive-in then it won’t matter.
Jokes on you. The Obama farewell speech is 20 January 2013.
Lust in the dust
You can’t cheat an honest man
The bank dick
Your wife and I would get along great!
I remember watching one summer afternoon "The Parent Trap" and from that time on I've been deeply in Love with Hayley Mills!
Go see Battleship... my wife and I literally laughed our way through it...
I am glad to see someone else understands when not to use the subjective case pronoun.
You want it with, or without?
Movies = profit for Hollywood liberals = more $$$$$ for liberal/democRAT causes.
If you liked Iron Man, you’ll like Avengers.
Recently saw Avengers, MIB 3 and Battleship and enjoyed all of them. MIB 3 was better than 2...not as good as the original, but in IMax 3D it was well worth the time. Battleship contained a huge amount of BS, but watching the Big Mo take down an alien ship was just plain cool!
MIB3, Avengers and Battleship all were really good movies.
Second that. The Avengers is outstanding. Joss Whedon made a movie about superheroes and managed to both showcase and humanize them simultaneously:
Black Widow: "These guys are out of legend. They're gods."
Captain America: "There's only one God, ma'am, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't dress like that."
If you know anything about Texas I thought ‘Bernie” was hilarious.
The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies!!?
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
While your at it can you tell me where I can watch some really good midget basketball?
There’s one I recently purchased, and can’t seem to get enough of.......RV starring Robin Williams.
“Big ol’ rolling turd coming through!!!”
I second “Uncle Buck”, one of my all time favs!
If you’re looking for a little more action I’d go for “True Romance.”
No one has mentioned one of my wife’s favorite movies from recent years — one of the true classics of high art: “Taledaga Nights, The Legend of Ricky Bobby”
That movie just made us smile the whole time (heck, I'm smiling now just thinking of it). :)
I haven’t seen that one because Michael Caine is not one of my favorites. I’ll give it a try. Thanks.
