Let my people go.
WOW!
thats not youtube and link doesn’t work for me
Exploded? Did he use ACME dynamite?
Heh...when you invoke Moses, you're serious.
I like this berserker. We need more like him.
I watched this yesterday and then saw the chicago local news coverage of Illinois State-house problems and unresolved issues. The Chicago News did not show it — they did not report on it — not a mention.
The media had their marching orders.
What color is this Rep? Just curious...I’m someplace where I cannot download videos
I am a big fan, now. Michael Madigan is a RICO violation. He has been the speaker of the house since the 1970s. The most powerful Democrat in the state since the 1970s. He should be Rod Blagojevich’s cellmate
I’d say he appeared a mite bit “ticked off”.
Something is causing this. This did not happen in a vacuum.
It may be indicative of a state that is about to implode, or it may be that he’s on heavy meds.
What does he know, or what has happened, that led to this, other than what we already know?
And that was one SERIOUS blow up!
Not youtube, no worky on Android
This is Illinois State Republican legislator Mike Bost.
I was so happy when I heard this....I’m stuck in this horrible state for a couple more years.
I heard on the radio this morning ( WLS 89am) out of Chicago that Madigan dropped all his demands and handed the pension bill over to the Republicans. Looks like his rant and all the attention it brought helped!!
FOR THOSE WITH NO VIDEO, HERE IS THE GIST:
An Illinois state lawmaker lost his temper in dramatic fashion on Tuesday when he screamed and threw papers in the direction of his colleagues on the floor of the state House.
Republican Mike Bost says he was simply protesting changes made to a proposed pension bill offered by House Speaker Michael Madigan, a Democrat. The bill had recently cleared a House committee and has been endorsed by Gov. Pat Quinn.
“Total power in one person’s handsnot the American way!” Bost screamed from the state House floor.
As the local CBS Chicago affiliate reported, Bost then threw several papers in the air and attempted to punch them with his fist as they drifted downward.
“These damn bills that come out here all the damn time, come out here at the last second!” Bost said as he threw the papers on the floor. “I’ve got to figure out how to vote for my people!”
Bost and other Republicans are opposed to the structure of the bill, which would raise local property taxes to decrease annual cost-of-living increases for public employees.
Bump for later.
Notice the people around him. If it was me, My lips would have been saying “thats right”.
It works, it just takes a very long time to load.
Downstate Illinois (anything not Chicago or its surrounding suburbs) has been ruled by Chicago for decades. First economically, in more recent times politically, and very recently it’s been out in the open. The resentment from Downstate has been lurking below the surface all the while, and now that the state’s situation is getting critical, they’re finally getting P.O.’d...albeit a bit late.
This Rep was furious that he was essentially being pushed to vote “blind” on a bill, without being given the chance to study it.
Mitt, I found your VP candidate!! (It would be fun to see him debate Joe Biden!!)
