Heard Schilling on sports talk radio yesterday say Chaffee reneged on promises and said the last product released was a bust when it was just the opposite and that he disclosed confidential information to the public including the ‘burn rate’.
I’m not familiar with everything, but this Chafee was all over the New England news smearing Schilling’s company very publicly which I’m sure did not help matters. He could have easily kept this quiet while they tried working things out behind doors. His actions seemed like an effort to harm the company.
I know an Animator there. He said they could be back in two weeks. The new game is six months away. He also said Schilling lost around $30M of his own.

It’s always risky to enter into “partnerships” with the government. If you want to control your own destiny, keep your company private, don’t seek out special favors from the government. They will want to own you.
