After a lengthy deliberation, a North Carolina jury has reached a verdict in the John Edwards mistress-and-money trial.
The verdict is expected to be read shortly.
The jury began deliberating on May 18 after a month of testimony, which at times sounded more like a steamy soap opera than a trial on the intricacies of campaign finance rules.
Charged with six counts of violating federal campaign laws, Edwards was accused by the government of soliciting nearly $1 million from wealthy backers to finance a cover up of his illicit affair and illegitimate child while running for president in 2008.

John Edwards Has Been Flirting With A Female Juror At His Trial
I hope this doesn’t turn out like the OJ trial, rather, more like the Scott Peterson trial.
Although he’s guilty I don’t think he’ll do any time.
This is a political prosecution anyway, to make sure he didnt make any more tries for the white house.
I think he may walk on this.

Yup, I think this was husseins way of saying don’t bug me again.
I thought they would have got out of Dodge last Friday to catch the long weekend.
I don’t take this as a good sign. The jury was supposedly deadlocked. Usually a deadlocked jury breaks in favor of the defendant. Hope I’m wrong.
We the jury find in the above entitled action in the matter of Count #1 that the Defendant, John Edwards IS too sexy for his shirt!
They going after the concubine for taking the money?
