Report: GOP Will End Fast And Furious Investigation (Hope this source is wrong)
Western journalism ^ | Thursday May 31, 2012

But according to the man who broke the “Gunwalker” story a year and a half ago, threatening letters to Speaker Boehner might no longer be necessary.

Sources in Washington, DC have told blogger and citizen reporter Mike Vanderboegh that Republican leaders have already decided to close down the Fast and Furious investigation and halt contempt proceedings against Eric Holder, because “they (the GOP leadership) don’t think that they will suffer for [that] failure to follow through. They’re scared of Holder’s race card. . . they’re scared of Trayvon. They think if they let Issa fail, that it will only be a story in the blogosphere for a day . . . that they can weather it. . . .” Unfortunately, Vanderboegh makes it clear that he trusts the word of these sources “implicitly.”

In short, John Boehner and other Republican big wigs are more afraid of the race card and its steady play by the Obama-owned national media than of the bitter –yet presumably brief—disappointment of conservatives, disgusted because the GOP has once again opted for the cowardly betrayal of justice and of the Party base.

[....]

Vanderboegh was certainly right about Boehner’s work to delay Representative Darrell Issa’s contempt proceedings against Holder. We should all hope his sources have gotten this one wrong.

Your scare tactics aren’t working.

If that is so important to you and such a big deal, why don't you take care of that little detail, friend???

It's called etiquette. Apparently a concept foreign to some.

Hope the GOP didn’t make a deal because they’ll get stabbed in the back. They’re just like Charlie Brown trying to kick that football.

This kind of appeasement allows the democrats to rape our freedoms time and again. Soon, we won’t have any freedom left. All the GOP does is try to mitigate the damage but to never reverse it or prevent it.

Other sources claim Jarrett threatened a U.S. Senator to ensure the investigation was dropped.

Dropping the investigation won't kill the story. That only makes them look like foolish wimps. It's too good a story for the November election. It won't help help turnout among Mexican Americans at a minimum. Obama is hoping for a large turnout among Latinos. The RNC chairman said he wanted to use Fast and Furious as an election issue. SuperPACS will probably use F & F in battleground states. The NRA will almost certainly do so. I can't see the NRA not using it.

Congressional investigations find scapegoats and dirt on each other, then they start making deals.

These things need to be taken out of the hands of congress and handed over to randomly selected groups of citizens.

Oh, you mean a Grand Jury?
Presentments are an awesome weapon... now if only the how-to of contacting local Grand Juries were common-knowledge...

GOP is looking for their gonads with both hands and a mirror and finding NADA. Spineless, gutless whimps IMO.

Dear Representative Gardner:
Dear Senator Udall:
Dear Senator Bennet:

Let's call Fast and Furious, Castaway, "Grenade Walker" and "Cash Walker" what they are. State-sponsored terrorism.

On this side of the border they are violations of the RICO Act. In Mexico and Honduras it is state-sponsored terrorism.

What else would you call heavily arming international criminal syndicates within foreign countries wherein those countries are in a death struggle with those syndicates?

Especially when it goes beyond thousands of assault rifles to include grenades, RPGs, shoulder fired rockets, anti-aircraft guns, night vision equipment, body armor and special deals to bring their drugs onto our soil with legal impunity?

Not to mention the just-revealed news that the rip crew that killed BP Agent Brian Terry was there with DEA and FBI assistance and approval to attack and kill a rival cartel's smuggling crew.

Let's not leave out the FBI and DEA laundering millions of dollars for the drug cartels by setting up bank accounts for them that they otherwise couldn't do.

It is organized, it is spread throughout every Federal LEA and it violates numerous domestic laws and numerous statutes and treaties that deal with foreign nations. Yet none of it has been officially sanctioned by Congress. (that I know of) It is the Federal government acting like mafioso.

Pres. Obama, AG Eric Holder and Sec. State Hillary Clinton are all deeply involved in this and it is unquestionably state-sponsored terrorism by the definition used to define states like Iran and North Korea.

PS: if you think I am wrong or exaggerating any of this I will be glad to bring you up to speed with very well sourced articles, legal depositions (publically available) and other public information that verifies every word I have said.

Either you are with these criminals or you are with U.S. I implore you to get informed, get involved and act or get run over by this. This lawless scandal is not going away.

Sincerely,

Mr. (TigersEye)

----------------------------------------------------------------

Here is a petition to call for Eric Holder's prosecution.
Tea Party Petition to Prosecute Eric Holder

After signing the petition you will get an automatic way to send an e-mail to your Congressman and Senators. You can use their text or fill in your own.

I strongly encourage all FReepers to sign that petition and to send their own thoughts about this to their Congress critters. Let them know that you are aware of this issue and that you are not going to forget about it. Let them know you will be watching to see what they do about it.
