The image: JCPenney is charging into the debate over gay rights again with a Father's Day ad featuring a same-sex couple laughing and playing with their children. (See the full ad below.)

It features real-life dads Todd Koch and Cooper Smith with their kids, Clair and Mason. The text reads: "What makes Dad so cool? He's the swim coach, tent maker, best friend, bike fixer and hug giver all rolled into one. Or two."

Who are (or were) their usual customers?
Not fashionable "gays" I think.
As a former employee, I am not supposed to speak ill of my old employer, but this is not the company I left in 2011.
Wow, I bet those fussy two percent of the population homosexual dads are are going to switch from their upscale clothiers and join the mob by shopping at JCP.
Meanwhile, I have to find a new place to buy my clothes.
What is behind this sudden push by national retailers to embrace queers...1-2% of the population, at best? Gay C. Penney’s, Target, Macy’s...this is NOT a coincidence.
Penny’s is doomed anyway.
A company’s business is to sell things.
At a profit.
May they rest on the ash heap beneath which is the Obamadork and his gay minions.
Disgusting.
Oops, improper possessive.
My bad.
Sure it is. They're just "out of the closet" now.
Not so. Most "gays" have normal sex at some point in their lives, and many of them are married (really married to the opposite sex) along the way.
A "gay" man can live with his own children (along with his lover) provided he got custody after the divorce.
Yes it happens.
Exactly: They are two fags playing with someone elses children they got on loan.

I think you missed the emphasis on THEY.
It’s obvious JCP is intent on closing it’s doors.
I will never set foot in J C Penney store again. Ever.
For a gift idea as to what to give those “dads,” fudge is always a winner.
Their new CEO (Ron Johnson) is from Apple.
Is he a buddy of Apple’s gay CEO, Tim Cook?
I will never shop at Penney’s again. It isn’t much of a sacrifice because I seldom shop at Penney’s anyway. I’m going to show this to my wife and it will bother her more because she does shop at Penney’s and probably, as a practicing Catholic, won’t after seeing it.
What is improper about your possessive? Please educate me my mentor :)
The nuns think I should remember, but I don’t
OH MAN They really pushing it they did same thing for Mother day gee louize JC Penney Corporation just don’t get ittt
It's just that the entire retail business in clothing, housewares and cosmetics has a disproportionate number of gay men employed. Since the push to "come out" in the 60s and 70s, many have risen to top management in stores all over the country, and have hired other gays. So the push to oust the Salvation Army from Target and feature gays in advertising or sponsor the lewd "Gay Games" in Ohio (Proctor and Gamble) comes largely from within these companies afraid of an equal employment lawsuit from those who have inside knowledge.
“What makes Dad so cool? He sticks his penis into the anal canal of another male!”
JC PENNEY is trying to glom onto what they perceive is a movement. It is not a movement. The opposite is true. JC Penney will pay the price.
Are you saying that those two men can have children together with nobody else involved? If so, I have some books you need to read.
I’m saying most “gay” couples with children are situations where one of the “gays” is really the parent.
——...playing with their children.
They don’t have children. It’s biologically impossible.-—
What’s a giant lie for the cause?
Even with the happy “family” photography, this one won’t get by anyone but the true believers. Repeat it often enough though...
——What is behind this sudden push by national retailers to embrace queers...1-2% of the population, at best? Gay C. Penneys, Target, Macys...this is NOT a coincidence.——
The beautiful people at the top probably started it, perhaps after some “consciousness raising” by a foundation. And from there, it won’t be hard to sell to the male art directors, half of whom are homosexuals.
