Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price got caught. He's been a fixture in Dallas politics for decades, quick to label others as racists in response to any slight offense he perceives. This just appeared on a Dallas Fox outlet. Price has long been Dallas' version of Al Sharpton.
And according to the documents, investigators seized $500,000 in cash from Price's home and monies made from the sale of land in southwest Dallas.
The documents said the FBI agents used electronic surveillance of bank records, emails, confidential informants, wire taps and undercover officers to gather evidence.

County commissioners were discussing problems with the central collections office that is used to process traffic ticket payments and handle other paperwork normally done by the JP Courts.
Commissioner Kenneth Mayfield, who is white, said it seemed that central collections has become a black hole because paperwork reportedly has become lost in the office.
Commissioner John Wiley Price, who is black, interrupted him with a loud Excuse me! He then corrected his colleague, saying the office has become a white hole.
That prompted Judge Thomas Jones, who is black, to demand an apology from Mayfield for his racially insensitive analogy.
Mayfield shot back that it was a figure of speech and a science term.
Six citizens addressed the court. All of them talked about the recent controversial departure of county Elections Administrator Bruce Sherbet. Sherbet, who was the Elections Administrator for 24 years, said he felt Price and Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins forced him out.
As Price stood to leave, he looked at Turner and the five other citizens who addressed the court. Price said to them, All of you are white. Go to hell!
Disgusting and sadly, not surprising.
Check out those spinners!
Pimps prolly got hos workin da hood as wee speeks.
If you can remember, ping me to the outcome. Given the racial politics & protection racket he’s built around ‘hisself’ - let’s just say I’ll save the full-blown celebration when this canker sore gets time in the greybar hotel where he has LONG BELONGED!
Wonder if he got on Barky and the Boys' wrong side, like Sheila Jackson Lee did for supporting Hildebeast?

PING - update, fwdude was right - took almost a year.
Quick to label others as racists in response to any slight offense he perceives.
If you allow him freezer money then your cool.
“politics for decades”
Better late than never, I guess, but way, way late. This piece of human debris/scum needs a good, harsh dose of “street justice.”
Not much information. How did he get the money, etc.?
The FBI dropped a bombshell in federal court today with an affidavit by Special Agent Donald Sherman as to why, exactly, law enforcement felt the need to seize more than $400,000 in cash (thick stacks of $100 bills) and other assets from Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price last year. Thanks kev! Heading there now to read!
what was fwdude right about?
He’ll just get a slap on the wrist and still keep his job. Similar to Charlie Rangel D-NY.
I hope the courts throw the book at this moron. He’s a total embarrassment to the city of Dallas.
Oh please convict this race baiting huckster!
Thank you for the ping! I would love to see this crooked-*ss, overbearing prima donna go down in flames. I hope the FBI doesn’t blow this one. They’ve got to have a sound case because Price will go to trial. He’s bullet-proof, you know!
