Romney's Transition Leader Favors Implementing Obamacare
Richochet ^ | 06/04/2012 | Ben Domenech

One of the few Republicans in the country who's been tirelessly pushing for the implementation of Obamacare at the state level has been tapped to head Mitt Romney's transition team, should he become president.

Former HHS Secretary Michael Leavitt, and his consulting group Leavitt Partners, are the primary advocates within Republican circles for implementation of Obamacare's exchanges. It just so happens that his consultancy is one of the major beneficiaries of the taxpayer funded gold mine of hundreds of millions of dollars in exchange implementation grants. But that's a coincidence, of course.

Repeal and replace with what?

I didn't say replace.

But if anything, it's all old news, major tort reform, promoting Association Health Plans, selling across state lines, and High Risk Pools...all private sector.

The man is not trustworthy

He doesn't have to be with a TEA Congress.

The entire Phony-Care for a “fall-guy”. American taxpayers.

Fall-guy for:

1. So called “banking”...inventors of MBS, derivs., so called “investments”.

2. The equity holders of #1 above...false “insurance cos.” which in reality are frauds for investments of #1 above.

3. The Federal government

All for any leverage anytime at will. Bailout #2

Hillary-Romney fits the glove. We’re getting ready, this household.

"I keep asking and I keep not getting an answer:

How is Romney so much better than Obama???"

According to Sarah Palin:

Palin: (9:23-9:37 ) on Hannity 4-12-2012

“I am convinced that governor Romney, if he is our nominee and if he is elected president, he will know to surround himself with those that will inherently know to go right, to err on the side of smaller, smarter government and that gives me a lot of confidence.”

How about Palin or Cain or Gingrich or Rand Paul(hell, even Ron Paul) or Bachmann; but, wait, they are no longer seeking the nomination that I know of, and barring unforeseen circumstances, it looks like Romney will be the nominee. So, that said, it looks like Romney is the alternative unless, of course, you prefer Gary Johnson, say who?

Who is your alternative, or do you support Obama?

I didn't say replace.

No but Romney has, many times, and so has all the establishment GOP. Was not referring to you personally.

“I guess this is what Bachman was talking about all along. Egad - how could he pick THAT guy ?”

Romney is a lying socialist that will say anything you want to hear that will get him elected!

What he has done in the past is what counts and what he says doesn’t mean anything!

Well, I told you what the "replace" likely consists of. That's been the GOP position for years.

I heard McConnell say as much last Sunday on a TV talk show, and I heard it again today from Congressman Tom Price. His bill, HR3000, contains reforms and incentives. You can see the entire bill as printed right here:

Aha, Romney already has a little progressive fascist in his
camp, subverting the freedoms of The People. How many more does Romney have like that? Leavitt should be thrown under the Romney bus, terminated with extreme prejudice.

Have politicians lost ALL respect for the fundamental freedoms of our nation? WTF?

Anyone who is looking to DC for a solution to the problems that DC creates is out of their mind.

This election is just a fight between which bunch of degenerate crooks liars and thieves gets to control the cash extorted from taxpayers by the IRS, nothing more, nothing less.

But yes, he is a "politician who talks out of both sides of his mouth"...and, he is the likely nominee.

Actually, he is the severely likely nominee.
