Ed Schultz Lurches From Panic to Incoherence Over Wisconsin Recall
News Buster.com ^ | June 4, 2012 | Jack Coleman

Posted on 06/04/2012 6:50:50 PM PDT by Kaslin

What a difference 48 hours makes in the barren wasteland known as Ed Schultz's mind.

Back on May 29, Schultz warned of giant flaming acorns falling from the sky if Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker prevailed in a June 5 recall election against Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, who was defeated by Walker in the 2010 gubernatorial race. (audio clips after page break)

sounding the alarm that a Walker victory could foreshadow President Obama's defeat in November, which in turn would usher in an era of permanent GOP control of the White House (audio) --

They are trying to set it up that if Mitt Romney gets elected, if Mitt Romney gets elected, there will never  be a Democratic president again in the history of the United States. The future is just, this is the way it's going to be. There'll never be a Democratic president in our lifetime again. And when I say in our lifetime, I'm talking about long, long, long, long, long time.

This is why Wisconsin's so important. The people of the country need to know that you can defeat it. And this in many respects is doing the country a favor, the way they're operating, the way they're lying, the way they're backing up the worst candidate, the worst governor in the country, his record's horrendous, and who he's a puppet to.

So that's why this is so important. They're trying to make it so Barack Obama doesn't get re-elected and no Democrat ever will be elected into the White House.

"This is why Wisconsin's so important" -- Walker wins, Obama in turn loses, and it's the end of the world as we know it

Two days later, Schultz was crooning a different tune. More accurately, he was part of a liberal chorus singing the same line, that of Walker winning in Wisconsin hardly mattering at all. Silly you, why would you have ever thought otherwise? (audio)

I get a kick out of the Twitter world 'cause they're working me over saying, oh, it's going to be fun to watch Eddie, he'll be crying in his beer, whatever. No I'm not! No, no, there's no downside about this recall any way, shape or form. Obviously we want Walker to be thrown out because he's a radical and he's not good for America. But look at the other side. They are throwing millions of dollars at a guy who is on the verge of being indicted for a felony. Now, how are they going to feel, win lose or draw, when this happens?

Two years into a fishing expedition by a partisan district attorney whose office is filled with like-minded Democrats, who'd think an indictment of Walker would have happened by now. Rest assured, if it never does, Schultz will claim "no downside" to that either. Whatever it takes for Schultz to save face, regardless of the contortions that ensue.

I’m only dimly aware of who Ed Schultz is. Now correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t he one of those rare things known as a half-way successful, liberal talk radio host? And isn’t he successful only because he pretended to be a Republican at one time? Now I’d think that someone like that would hope that Romney wins in November. The last thing he wants is another out-of-work, cryptoliberal Republican looking for a talk radio gig.

I can’t help but laugh at this for different reasons than others. I happen to seriously think that IF Romney gets elected the chances of there ever being a “conservative” GOP POTUS in my lifetime become non-existent. Of course, I don’t want Obama reelected. Boy it really sucks to be a conservative Republican right now that cannot stand GOPe nominees. Especially since Obama is so venerable...why waste this election on a poser like Romney.

Dems don’t need to be afraid of Romney....conservative Republicans do.

Remember to send your support and love tomorrow to Wisconsin Governor, Scott Walker. The recall election initiated by big labor and radical liberal activists is not only one of the most petty and negligent, but one of the most expensive in history. I commend Mr. Walker for standing up for his beliefs, the welfare of those Americans who foot the bill, despite the incessant threats of Union thugs. I have no problem respecting the right of workers to organize, but it is less and less a movement born out of necessity - working conditions, discrimination, unfair compensation - and more and more a means of holding businesses and state governments hostage to unscrupulous politics and absurd demands.

Instead of adopting a no nonsense bargaining mantra, unions have become the puppets of the Democratic party; selling out the liberties of their brethren, the cornerstone of America’s blessings, for the anti-capitalist platform of leftist twits who will stop at nothing to conceal the Constitution - the rights of individual, taxpaying Americans - beneath the usurping umbrella of Big Government. In other words, they don’t want you to think for yourself, they want your blind allegiance, another bullet in the gun of coercion to fulfill their egocentric agenda, to empty your wallets in the name of corporate envy and egalitarian excuses; which has nothing to do with what’s best for you or this country. No More! God Bless Scott Walker and may his victory tomorrow be a beacon of strength for millions living under the boot of Big Brother: aka, liberal fascism!

Sgt. Schultz is a former North Dakota sportscaster who
“got religion” and converted (’cause of of his more recent wife) to the Dark Side of Talk Radio. He shot and killed his dog while hunting, so is >> worse than Dick Cheney.

MSNBC Host: We Ought to Rip Out Cheney’s Heart & Kick It Around (Audio)

Posted on February 26, 2010

ED SCHULTZ (01:59): I just want all of you to know that I get my entertainment through NewsBusters. (laughs, then in mincing voice)

How dare [we] Democrats make fun of Dick Cheney’s heart problems and turn it into a political football. (back to normal voice, to the extent possible) I can just hear some little weasel who’s writing that at NewsBusters. You’re my entertainment.

Bozell, Bozell and his bozo crew. You’re damn right, Dick Cheney’s heart’s a political football. We ought to rip it out and kick it around and stuff it back in him. I’m glad he didn’t tip over. He is the new poster child for health care in this country.

I don’t think he really means it. He was a Conservative Radio host, until he found out that he could make as much money and have 1/10 the ratings as a liberal talk show host. Besides, his new wife turned him onto to be a radical leftist...new wives tend to ruin otherwise good men, like Barry Goldwater and Benedict Arnold.

Root and branch, body and soul, top to bottom. For one of two reasons, the ordinary brain-dead Socialists, their real label, are too intellectually lazy to think things through and depend on me to do the heavy lifting to protect there freedom (There ought to be law types) or the shop steward types who KNOW what they are doing is evil and do it anyway. A pox on both.
