Nice of you to tell other Americans what there rights are. If a lib tells a Tea party member that he shouldn't vote, then he is a commie and a fascist. But it's ok for you to do that, and decide who can and cannot vote. I am tired of the constant NY bashing in here. Not every one in NYC voted for this clown. He spent over 100 million to get reelected and to over turn the term limit laws. And he barely squealed buy to win. If it wasn't for the low life's on the city council who think that they by Divine right should be permanent member's of the council, we would have had Freddy Ferrer as Mayor. A lib to be sure, but not a delusional one like Bloomie, who thinks that he needs to set a Legacy as the New LaGuardia. I don't like this clown and the only ones who really support him are Manhattan “Elites” and minorities that vote Dem no matter what. So flame away, I am sure where you are from that every one votes the way you approve of.

I wonder how the 42% would like it if large pizzas, hoagies, or chili dogs were banned...because those are going to be next but that is beyond their pea-brains to see it.

New York deserves Mayor Bloomberg! Let them live together in peace (or war) or whatever..I don’t really care as long as he isn’t exported to the rest of the nation!

My post was {obviously} humor/sarcasm.
Sometimes on FR folks are so rabid they miss that.
As for NYC, if you want to live there, awesome.
There are a good number of FReepers who live in places like NY, Ill, and Cali and love to come on here and complain. God bless ‘em all.

Government at all levels is too powerful, growing, too large etc. Democrats are statists/socialists.Government is doing or trying to do 1000's of things at all level, millions of pages of laws and regulations etc. the constitution never intended this. some thing has to change. They violated the constitution. but how do we rite a new one to stop them from violating it again?
I propose a new Constitution.
1. the only powers that government at all levels have is those listed in the Constitution. make a list of 5 or so only local police, courts, private property rights and that's it.Any government official attempting to ban sodas, or give Amnesty to illegals, or to create things like the EPA, IRS , government schools etc. Shall be automatically violating the law and so committing a crime and shall be automatically under arrest.
2. However allow more government against foreigners:Army , against illegals, against china. Let these nanny staters tax and regulate China, illegals , foreign armies, China products etc. or stop them. 3. Domestic government should be only just watchers of politicians and government not watchers over us and domestic businesses as is the case. Of course they should also watch over foreigners like illegals, China, OPEC , the UN. by watchers I mean things like the Army, customs , border patrol.
