What do you expect: a Volt **IS** a pretty gay car. . .

Anyone know of any auto manufacturer that does NOT support fecal sex? I will soon be in the market for a new car.

The only smart thing they did with that car - put the receptacle on the driver’s side front fender.
I remember the old cars with the gas tank filler in the back behind the license plate. You don’t see that any more. Too many people driving off at the gas station with the hose still in the tank, maybe. I still can’t figure out how car designers decide which side of the car to put the gas filler cap. I’ve always thought it should be on the driver’s side.

Indeed. I doubt many Americans outside of NYC even knew what that was. I figured they were more concerned with their own personal lives, the Moon landing and Vietnam in the summer of ‘69.

Fagtastic Obamstermobile?
To: smokingfrog
It’s the first openly gay car. The Prius is still in the closet.

They should do some targeted advertizing for the LGBT community. Like “Strap a Volt on your ass” or some such. Big-boy’s battery-powered toys.

A queer car for queers.
1969: Queers say, "Stay out of my bedroom!"
2012: Queers say, "Celebrate my queerness!"
Shut up and go back into your bedrooms, closets and caves.

What do you expect: a Volt **IS** a pretty gay car. . .While it is inaguably gay, it doesn't really fit the LGBT template. I've driven one, and it's quiet.

There's more potential Volt customers who would be repelled by such an ad than there are homosexuals who would buy one because of it.
Nice idiotic move by Chevy marketers to further marginalize the idea of electric cars.

pandering to the filthy 1%... oh yeah, like that's gonna help sales

On June 28, 1969, gays, lesbians, and their transgendered friends took to the streets of New York, protesting the harassment they'd experienced at the hands of the city's police force. The violence -- now known as the Stonewall Riots -- lasted for several days and altered the way that Americans viewed their LGBT neighbors. Riots over the police closing of a mob-run speakeasy.
Then again, gay men HAVE long been drama queens about their lives.

We have a president who's come out in favor of marriage equality. The author has tipped his hand where he falls along the aisle in this argument.

At least Ford sponsor the homosexual agenda with their own money.
Do the United Autoworkers believe this suits their members’ needs?
