Rumsfeld, Kissinger, Rickover, all were reportedly tough to work for. However, they could unite people behind their vision and accomplish great things.
Of course, no sane person trusts or believes Mr. Obama. And, for most, the consequences of trusting Mr. Obama are distant, diffuse, and abstract. But for Israel, especially ,trusting Mr. Obama to go ahead with a blockade of Iran would result in the destruction of Israel. The decision makers in Iran, you know, the ones who allowed 1,000.000 or more of their young people to be killed the the Iran Iraq War where the troops were ordered to make WWI style charges against defensive positions, those same decision makers will go after Israel when they get a chance. They are true believers with guns, knives, saws, and, in the prospective near future, nuclear weapons. Trusting Mr. Obama in his dealings with these fanatics would make as much sense as trying to carry water in cheesecloth.
