Dear Wisconsin liberals.....

Good morning sleepy heads! Hope you got a good nights sleep. Make sure you order a double at Starbucks this morning so you are ready for your day - you've got a lot of explaining to do.

Let's talk about this whole recall thing - you know, that groundswell of the grassroots? I'm sure you're confused about the whole thing, but let me give you a hand with this. Let's talk about that difference in the campaign funds spent. Whether it is the sobbing activist on CNN crying that "Democracy is OVER!" or the official press release from the Obama Campaign, all you guys are talking about is being "outspent $34 million to $4 million".

Okay. Dry your eyes and I'll explain to you why you lost. First, the unions are the ones who picked this fight, not Scott Walker. He didn't come knocking on the door of the Wisconsin Democrat Party asking to be recalled. Progressive activists started this. The Unions started this. The Wisconsin Democrats started this. Here's a clue, Wisconsin Democrats - before you start a fight, make sure you've got the resources to win. Since YOU are the ones who picked the fight, you aren't really in a position to complain about how much ammunition Scott Walker bring with him.

Secondly, maybe you might want to reconsider your campaign strategy. You got 1.1 million signatures to recall Scott Walker, yet your vote total on election night was only 1,158,337 voters? You spent all that money, energy, time and effort and persuaded exactly 58,337 people statewide? Really? You need to call Don Draper and design a new campaign. On second thought, don't do that - he won't give you the time of day because you don't know what the hell you're doing.

Finally, quit crying about President Obama not coming to Wisconsin. He knew it was going to be a train wreck. Axlerod knew it was goin to be a train wreck. Barrett knew it was going to be a train wreck. It appears that YOU were the only one who didn't realize that, but hey, Obama is really looking forward to your help in November! He's counting on you to double up on all of that energy. And emotion. And money. I'm sure you'll feel like going that extra mile (oops, sorry about the Biblical reference) to get him elected so he can continue to ignore you when you need him.

You might want to make that Starbucks a triple.

The sweet thing about beating the Democrats by more than their margin-of-cheating is they can’t shriek “the election was stolen” without people laughing in their faces.

When you sign a petition you must use your name. As a union member you want to go on record as supporting the union position lest the union look unfavorably on you and act accordingly toward you. In the voting booth the union isn’t going to know how you actually vote. When you have voted for Walker you come out of the voting station and tell the pollster you voted against that unionbustinggrannyhatingetcetc Walker because you know that your face is being recorded by someone with a cellphone camera and if you say you voted for walker it will get back to your union and you will pay an unpleasant price.

Exactly - another case of bringing a knife to a gun fight.

"outspent $34 million to $4 million"

Like you, I doubt this is an accurate figure. However, if that's the number they want to use, I'll throw it right back at them. They can't have it both ways - either they raised a pitiful amount or they are lying.

He should be crying "Bolshecrats are OVER."

It appears that they were only able to bus in 58,000 out-of-staters.

Heh. I, along with 4 others, was in Dixon, IL for a meeting last night. On the way back (Eastbound on I-88), one of us checked for vote updates on his phone and said CNN had it too close to call. This was around 8:45 pm Central. We talked about it and I suggested looking for tour buses headed Westbound for Iowa. They'd probably contain people returning home from voting in Wisconsin.

Got home a little after 9, and Fox had already called it for Walker with 34% tallied. Obviously, CNN and NBC/MSNBC just couldn't face the music, and deceived their viewers until they couldn't hide it any longer...

‘This Is the End of Democracy’

I certainly hope so. Democracy is a very bad thing. The founding fathers did not want democracy, they wanted, and got, a representative republic. Democracy is nothing more than mob rule in a nice suit. WHOEVER THIS PERSON WAS, I HOPE THEY ARE RIGHT!...............

I guess Mickey, Minnie, Donald duck, Goofey, and Bart Simpson didn’t vote even after signing the recall petition.

Just how honest is this statement anyway? I suspect that the $34 million is conveniently overstated, and I also suspect that the $4 million is significantly understated.

Doesn't matter. If you start a fight, you'd better be sure you have (or have access to) the resources to win. The resources governor Walker mustered to fight them off, at whatever level, is his own business, and they have no one to blame but themselves.

That being said, part of their problem stems from the amount of money the unions had already spent leading up to this recall. Also, the fact that the DNC and the administration refused to get involved. They were on their own. Not a way to win a fight. Just ask Custer...

IT'S A GOOD DAY TODAY !

Yes, it's a good day for singing a song
And you can beat your breast just like you're King Kong
Yes, it's a good day, the libs got the gong
It's a good day from morning to night

Yes, it's a good day for shining your shoes
And it's a good day for losing the blues
The Governor wins and the union goons lose
It's a good day from morning to night

Yep, today's a good day to sing from the hills
And it's a good day for curing your ills
So clap your hands and enjoy last night's thrills
'Cause it a great day from morning to night!

Congratulations to all Freepers....you fought the good fight with your activism and/or communication skills....each of you is an integral part of this victory, absolutely no doubt about it. For the billionth time in my life I'm proud to be a Freeper!

Thank you for the compliment for our great state of Wisconsin. We are so proud of what we stood up for and so proud of what we accomplished yesterday with the Walker Victory.

As I mentioned in a post a couple of days back..... We are not just a pretty face here in FlyOver country, we can eat cheese and drink beer at the same time!

I say to all the naysayers and the union thugs and the lefties and the whiney teachers. BWAAAAAAAAAAA BWAAAAAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAAAAA ROFLMAO, LOL and other assorted bits of laughter.

We did NOT stand down and we turned out the vote. There was excitement and enthusiasm for this election here in WI that I have not seen in my lifetime.

Our terrific Rep. Paul Ryan said on Monday night at a Walker Rally “Tomorrow we save Wisconsin and November we save the USA”.

Gotta love that guy and Gov. Walker and our terrific Sen. Ron Johnson. We’re going to try to give you ANOTHER Conservative Senator come November to replace the retiring Sen. Herb Kohl.

Thanks to our fabulous FReeper family for your support and prayers!
