Weeping Anti-Walker Protester: 'Democracy Died Tonight'

Yeah? Did ya say that when your POS State Legislature RAN AWAY to IL, rather than cast a vote that they knew they would lose? Did Ya?

Yeah, didn't think so.

In the immortal works of BJ Clinton, Ya better put some ice on that.

This stuff makes me wonder if we’re not quickly approaching the point where it’s no longer possible to settle political differences in a peaceful manner. Reading all the threats made on Twitter, directed at Scott Walker and his family, is very disturbing.

If the Left has so declined as to be unwilling to respect the democratic election process and live with the outcome, they are inviting some serious trouble.

Don’t you love drinking their sweet tears of defeat?

Democracy? We live in a Constitutional Republic with free elections. The people have spoken in a very democratic way. The winners didn’t riot or occupy, they voted.

Nothing died. Socialism lost an election, but still lives.

Save the planet, break all unions!

What part of “any adult could vote, and a majority voted for candidate W, who thus won” isn’t democracy? YOU (generic “you”) are not a majority; just because your chosen candidate didn’t win doesn’t mean “democracy died”.

Democracy is NOT about getting your way all the time.

This whining pisant is part of the generation raised on "False Self Esteem."

He is accustomed to getting a trophy and a victory pizza party at Chuck E. Cheese even when his team goes winless.

The "we wuz outspent 31 million to 4 million" mantra has been the Excuse du jour early and often since Walker whacked the collective Dems' peepee.

If so, then the same people paid for that who also pay all the other bills in Wisconsin.

And they all said, "Nevermore!"

I keep hearing/reading the whining about being outspent.

What are they comparing?

Walker has been fighting this for 18 months.

Barret was in the race for..what...6-8 weeks?

I find it disturbing too and only a precursor to the ugliness we will likely see if the Left loses big in November. The night Obama was elected was one of the most depressing night of most of our lives. However, we accepted the results and moved on. Don't remember any threats, broken windows or candidates slapped after giving a concession speech. Hell, many of us were even willing to give Obama a chance to make good.

They are not counting all the money spent by RAT operatives and their cronies
in the unions. I suspect they are only counting money from Barret's campaign
coffers directly. As usual it's not the accuracy of the claim, it's the claim itself.

They are counting "all" the money spent by Walker and Co, while only some
of the money spent by Barrett alone. It's a spin game again.
Juan Williams was touting 8-1 and last night it was 10-1, whats it up to now 50-1?

I could be wrong but when I've been lied to every day there is no way to trust any claim.
Besides that, who gives a crap anyway. The left was walking on air over the potential of
Obama having One-Billion dollars to continue his socialist fascist agenda in our faces.

That is true, but it was not all ice cream and lollypops here either. People were very upset and even demanded that the results were not true and that the Democrats stole it....it was not a pretty night around Free Republic. However, we did keep it amongst ourselves.
