“The point is to ‘make examples’ of alleged lawbreakers.”

I found it interesting that he includes ALLEGED lawbreakers. I’m surprised they didn’t just take the email writer out and hang him by the nearest lamp post.

From 2010:

The Department of Education’s office of Inspector General ordered for delivery – probably this week sometime – 27 Remington 870 12-gauge shotguns with 14 inch barrels for officials in just two offices.

"... we are the only blocking point to one-world socialism/communism. Reagan said it, we are the last, best hope."

Reagan may have said it, but he didn't invent it.

It was an excerpt from Lincoln's speech one month prior to selectively emancipating the slaves of the South (not those of the North) in the War of The Rebellion (which is that war is called on the memorials of Galena, IL and northwards):

"We shall nobly save, or meanly lose, the last best hope of earth. Other means may succeed; this could not fail."

This was Lincoln's pleading on the eve of asking for unity of support in bringing the full force of the Federal Government in what is still today called by most Southerners as "The War of Northern Aggression."

Be careful in using this phrase -- it appears that Obama and his backers are presuming that their preferred form of irresistible federal domination over individual freedom is just a further extension of "the last, best hope."

“Asheville” spelling will improve your image as a columnist of that locality — respectfully suggested.

Well, someone has to be issued the 450 million rounds of .40 caliber JHP that the DHS ordered...

I reached the same conclusion.

Both the "WAr on Drugs" and the "War on Terror" were merely shams to get the citizens to surrender their rights without fighting. And to condition the sheep to living in a police state.

Don't believe that? just watch how the t.v. program Cops has evolved since its debut.

Yup. Now find someone willing to do it and see how long before they are Alinskyed out of viability in the race.

The problem is that it's often much more difficult to identify the enemy within. Their work is wrapped up in words such as compassion, fairness, justice, free. McCarthy, Goldwater, and Birch were all correct, but ridiculed and ignored.

The use of Cultural Marxism, instead of a frontal attack, has been frighteningly successful. We've reached the point where Defense Secretary Leon Panetta has declared climate and environmental change a national security threat.

I see that my Post #54 on this topic should have been directed to the original blog author, Alan Caruba. I am in error and beg your forgiveness of directing this observation toward yourself.

I appreciate this and other articles you have posted. Clearly we have very similar views and loyalties.

Mea culpa.

No apology necessary.  I knew exactly who you were referring to when you said it.  We're all on the same page here.

Cheers.

I agree 100% with you on that count.  As long as our attention on foreign enemies is not compromised.

It is possible to fight a two front war.  And not only possible, but neccessary.  As in, we have no option but to fight a two front war.  The foreign front, and the domestic front.

BTW, I seriously suspect that Leon Panetta may by a communist mole.  Call me a nut if you wish.  There is quite a bit of evidence that Panetta has communist associations (Bing search Leon Panetta communist ties). If an obvious communist idealogue like Obama can make it all the way to the Presidency, is it to far of a strech to assume that one could make it to the top post of agencys like the CIA or FBI?

The rats are inside the wire.

Alan Caruba does not know how to spell the name of the newspaper for which he is a contributor. So, what else did he get wrong about this story? Totally knocks out credibility from the beginning.

Verrrry interesting. Not surprising since Panetta is CFR.

IMHO those promoting the New World Order and Globalism are nothing more than global communists in business suits and their useful idiots. They have successfully created a story for the ‘right’ about ‘free trade’, ‘comparative advantage’, ‘nation building’, free movement of goods and natural persons, and ‘profits uber alles’ with no reference to patriotism or morality. This leads to the same place as the story for the left - destruction of the American economy, security, traditional culture, values and its pesky middle class under the tyranny of global communism.

Around here a Border Patrol agent was going over 50 mph on a dirt road and almost hit a rancher’s son on a horse. The rancher called the BP to complain and during the conversation said that this had to stop or someone was going to get hurt.

Yeah, because the kid that was almost hit isn't a someone, therefore it could only be directed at the officials.
If it was a recent event, sse if you can have him call back and talk to the guy's supervisor (be sure to have witnesses) and reiterate that it's got to stop before someone gets hurt and mention the subordinate's "that's a threat"... then let them dig themselves holes for these http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/241 & http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/242.

Alternatively, the Grand Jury can issue presentments, which is an order to prosecute for some crime.
