Stock Market rally was all about Walker Victory in Wisconsin.

Earlier we joked that some people thought today's rally was the result of the election outcome in Wisconsin last night. Well, serious people think so too. James Grant, of Grant's Interest Rate Observer, was just on CNBC, and this is what he told Maria Bartiromo: "...Today i think part of the source of the levitation was the Scott Walker triumph in Wisconsin." He explained: "People maybe are discounting the prospects of a return to something like freer if not free markets come the Fall if Romney or GOP decisively wins."

Grant also said he expects a third round of quantitative easing and reiterated that the long-term implications of QE3 are bad. He said the "world has 2008 on it's brain" and the awful memories of 2007 -2009 have the global economy preparing for a replay:

"People are buying protection against a deflationary collapse. …What if this money printing unexpectedly began to generate higher than expected rates of inflation? what if interest rates went up? that might be the surprise. …How about if the labels were stuck on wrong?"

I know it, you know it, but the RATS are pretending the market jumped up because of some bogus news about europe. Nice try, Rats.

Truly agree. Mid 2008 as John McCain started to fail the markets started to crash. Now Obama is melting and behold a brighter future! Simple as that. Obama will soon implode.

Romney winning will usher in a massive stock market boom if for no other reason he will not be a communist tyrant. Even if Romney plays rip van winkle and does nothing it’s better than gaybama

Watch what happens to the market if Romney wins-I predict a humongous rally...but, if the opposite happens and Hussein steals enough votes to win.......look out!

After 3.5 years of “hope & change” yeah. Markets hunger for leadership.

Actually it only took two years for the public to get fed up with Obama. Wisconsin is not the beginning, it is the continuation of the Republican resurrection that began in 2010.

The DJIA ‘rally’ today was pumped up by the HFT algos for no other reason than that the powers that be decided the Dow was getting just a little too low. They wanted it to drop to force Bernanke’s hand into another round of QE, but they can’t let it fall so low that public-sector unions cannot be paid, receive their pensions and have their health insurance paid for, which requires an ever-climbing DJIA.

To my fellow Freepers that are banking on Robamney, do you really think the market will rally if he wins? And, if it does, do you think that increase in the DJIA will be worth any more than the TP better known as the US dollar?

The economy is at a cliff. There is no pulling it back at this point.

Romney (the liberal) and conservatives and the free market and especially those who did not vote for Obammie the Commie will receive the shotgun blast of blame from every liberal mouth and pen out there. Robamney will not be able to fix this. At LEAST five years of massive, painful depression is coming.

The market is rigged. Look at the nearly 300-point ‘rally’ today based on zero news, just a whisper of hope for more QE, which will do very little at this point.

Right, yet the public is still being tortured by Obama and his minions czar and Holder types. His judicial nominees will haunt the Free Republic. The big bomb will blow us all up when Obama’s fraud is made fact.

That was my only thought...the compliant media extends to the CNBC and certainly Bloomberg types. QE3-speak, my foot!

On to November, can’t come soon enough.

YA THINK??!!??

Just like the economy tanked when it became "possible" for the Kenyan Manchurian Candidate to become president.
A free market is ultra-sensitive to the effects of a possible Socialist/Radical regime. Or any serious defeat to their long range plans.

Can I assume that three posts “Removed by Administrator” were the work of a DU or “democratic” troll?
