Ahead of a Thursday morning House Judiciary Committee hearing to question Attorney General Eric Holder on Operation Fast and Furious, House oversight committee chairman Rep. Darrell Issa made his message clear: Lead, follow or get out of the way.
When youre attorney general, you dont get to follow, Issa added during an appearance on the Fox News Channel on Wednesday morning. So [Holder needs to] lead or resign.
On Tuesday, Issa announced that his committee had obtained evidence proving that senior Department of Justice officials approved the tactics used in Fast and Furious.
In a letter to Holder, Issa specifically said his committee has obtained copies of six wiretap applications in support of seven wire intercepts utilized during Fast and Furious. Those documents, he said, show that immense detail about questionable investigative tactics was available to the senior officials who reviewed and authorized them.
Issa explained that the documents prove that Holder and other Justice Department officials in the Obama administration provided false statements to Congress.

H0lder is shameless.
Holder is the most shameless AG in history.
For anyone interested in dogs and ponies...
PS: If you didn’t see Greta’s interview with Chaffetz earlier, it is a must see.
Unfortunately for Issa, Weeper of the House Boner is running interference for Holder and the DOiJ
The NYT has an ethics code? Who knew?
They say they do. That’s propaganda.
PROSECUTE or retire yourself. I'm tired of all the talk ... DO SOMETHING!!! Maybe sir, you should turn it over to the UN! That's what people who cannot execute policy do.
This is truly governance we can rely on.
According to Chaffetz, if Holder doesn’t cooperate at this hearing, it’s very likely Issa will get tough and hold another hearing some time in the future. No more Mr. Nice Guy.
Gonna take more than one resignation to clear out the stink in the DOJ...
Thanks for the link. Issa flat denies that Boenher is anything but supportive of him. That “green jobs” segment was good too.
Fact: Issa says that’s BS. See video linked in post #10.
If Issa is happy with how things are going, that’s fine. However the fact remains that Boehner and his crew received the draft citation a month ago, and it doesn’t sound like we’re anywhere closer to see that dirty weasel Holder getting what he has coming to him.
When I see Holder held in contempt after a House vote and/or the SOB resigns to avoid being held in contempt, then I’ll believe we might be getting somewhere.
Getting (and revealing that they got) those wiretaps seems a lot closer to me.
I hope you’re right.
