Golly I feel lousy today. Must be a hangover from all the good stuff yesterday!
Morning p6. Careful walking home today! Define ‘lousy’.
Still not over kitty either. Oh and then there's worrying about oldest son still not having a new place to move to AFAIK. I think they are keeping me out of the loop on that.
Not hungry, thirsty all the time...that kind of stuff.
How are the newly weds? When do they get back?
Sounds like “ol’ timers” might be creeping up on you...
See if some rest helps. Sounds like a lot on your plate. The little worries wear on ya!
Heard from son and wife on Tuesday night. They are having a wonderful time. DIL loves Hong Kong! They said they come home Monday. I think that’s Sunday in our time zone. Not sure.
Morning AM. The “ol’ timers’ are creeping up on all of us! lol! My knees cry foul every time I get up! Talk about stiff!
I think that is exactly the problem, LOL!
Between nerves, lack of sleep, and mourning, you likely need a solid day of sleep.
Today, I have GOT to start focusing on my health. Too large, too weak, and getting too old isn’t helping one iota.
Did anyone notice all the usual leftist comentators wer MIA on Fox yesterday? Bectal and Colmbs especially. I was looking foward to seeing them whine.
Debbie Whatshername Shultz is so mind numbingly, irritatingly stupid I have to turn off the audio when they play the sound!
Hmmm ...the Krauthammer sound bite made me think. Maybe Romney wouldn’t do bad to pick Ryan as his running mate.
I missed the sound byte (was downstairs getting coffee!). But I like Ryan. And it helps that he’s from Wisconsin!
The unions and especially SEIU and teachers unions got their butts kicked but they’ll be back. Next time there may well be violence.
Rest could help a lot...but...maybe a doctor visit (some blood work?) should be considered. Thirst can be an early warning of Type II Diabetes (good to get diagnosed and treated ASAP).
Sorry to be a downer (too much experience here w/PaDad).
Ahhh...great news on the newlyweds:) they won’t want to come back to “real life” next week. Safe travels home for the happy couple.
I too cannot stand the sound of Debbie Washerwoman Shultz voice...it’s almost as bad as Dear Leader’s. DWS prattling on and on about the grassroots (AstroTurf) in Wisconsin.
The best humor in all of this is over at the DUmp. They are in mourning...every so often a brave Dim will point out how little the WI public unions were being asked to contribute, and wow—the wrath comes down on them. They are really demoralized.
I think we all need more sleep/rest. I have been trying to read up on vitamins and minerals. Learning about magnesium and it’s roll in headaches (migraines). I started cinamon for blood sugar control (and it has seemed to help) and vitamin D (paDad—who gets all kinds of blood work due to his diabetes/heart issues—was found to be greatly deficient.) we opted NOT to have him do “mega dose” and slowly build up (2 x 2000 tablets w/meals—except breakfast—heart meds then). Anyways...I’m thinking I need to try magnesium.
Maybe that’s another focus for all of us then.
Celery is supposed to be good for high blood pressure. I’ve got loads of it here now, need to start chowing on it. Besides my calcium and active D that I HAVE to take (or die), my potassium is low. So more bananas for me!
BTW, where has Greg been??
